Game now in weather delay.

Some bad weather was coming through Northern Kentucky earlier....the NKU/Ashland University men's soccer game was delayed over 30 minutes due to lightning....hope they get that HUGE contengent into a safe area.

Looking at the radar it looks like the delay could last over an hour, maybe two.

 

 

Edit: Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if this game gets canceled. There is a lot of bad weather out there and it is going to be passing through louisville for 3 hours plus.

Just got in from the game...my little one was not up for the delay or weather.....other games in Jeff Co. have been cancelled...I haven't heard anything yet on this one....I'll go back out if it starts up

X is not looking very X like...2 turnovers....and stupid penalties....fasemask away from the ball gives T a first when they looked like they were stopped....Phillips takes off on nice run after....

 

X also was moving the ball and then illegal motion killed the drive....

 

T defense looks very strong up the gut....X getting nothing up the middle...but getting 5 a pop on sweeps...

 

T's Phillips has impressed me....for being so little he is very quick and apparently hard to tackle...

The C-J website says the game will not be resumed or rescheduled and will not count as an official contest.

WHAS 11 sports just reported the same thing.
