Yes the Defense specifically the DB’s are Coached by Highlands very own Jacob Brass, who was an All American at Georgetown. The Kid is a Dude and is finding his way nicely. I think I will keep him around.

We may have just witnessed the Greatest performance by a Highlands Freshmen Football player last Night. Bryce Armstrong finished with 432 All Purpose Yards and 7 TD’s. “Its a great day to be a Bluebird” #scit

Its not a True Playoff…..Its 1 game. 1v2 3v4 5v6 7v8 All odd Seeds host. Highlands is 9-0 and CCH is 8-1. It will be the 1v2. Freshman aren’t allowed to play more than 10 games.

Big shout out to the Birds for the W and my Niece Maren Orme. They have moved her around to help play defense. Not many Girls are beating her in a foot race for a loose ball. Flat out Stud! She was assigned Sat to shut down one of Notre Dame’s best players. Mission accomplished….On to Johnson Central!

Highlands 47 Conner 0 Birds were up 40-0 at Half. QB Bryce Armstrong starts off the game on the 1st play from scrimmage for 70 plus yards to Pay dirt and the rest was History. Next up for Highlands is Cooper at Home. Highlands locked up #1 seed tonight and will host the Winner between CCH/Dixie Winner next week on Wed Oct 29th Go Birds!

All Championship Week games will be played Wed Oct 29th. Confirmed with Head of Officials last week due to Halloween.

Highlands with a 42-12 Win over Campbell Co. QB Bryce Armstrong only played 1st quarter due to Quarter restrictions. It was 14-0 when he left the game. Carson Skirvin(Son of Dayton Great Jason) & 8th grader Amil Wimzie took over the Offense and rolled off another 4 TD's. The Defense is playing incredible right now. Nick Stojkovic was on another level last night. All around great Team Win. On to Conner next week. Go Birds!

Highlands 42 Simon Kenton 6 Another complete game by the Birds tonight in Ft Thomas. 8th grader Amil Wimzie is all business with 2 Receiving TD’s. The youngster is just different. Bryce Armstrong with another great Night at the Office as well. The Birds Defense played lights out led by Nick Stojkovic with several tackles for loss. Next up for the Birds is Beechwood next Thursday in Ft Mitchell.
