  1. If you have judegemental and negative comments, just keep them to yourselves. The kid made a nice play. I'm not saying this was greatest dunk I've ever seen, but it's good to give kids exposure when they do something good. Nonetheless, the game went into OT and this was a momentum boost.
  2. I have heard: Pikeville College, Union College, University of the Cumberlands, EKU, LMU and several other small schools.
  3. I don't think the mountains will pull this one out. If you host a tournament, why would you put yourself playing Scott Co? Not wise.
  4. Desmond Johnson, the top rated big man in the 13th region, dunks on a kid from Middlesboro in their game last week.
  5. We have more in the top 20 than Ohio!!! I love it!!! I do have a hard time believing Maryville, TN shouldn't be on that list. They are on a 60 game winning streak.
  6. I'm so glad I opened this debate (though I'm sure it has been debated many times before). From a neutral standpoint, I would say that since 1968, Trinity has been the better program, though only by a smidge. However, on the larger scale, Highlands has to be the top team. Maybe that isn't fair to Trinity considering the time frame. Also, is there an argument that Trinity has an advantage because they are a private school?
  7. --- Heading into the 2008 season, Highlands ranks fifth in the entire nation and second in Kentucky with respect to total number of wins (758 wins). Who is first?
  8. A lot of people have said that, but I think they are handing out bad information. I don't think he is the front runner. He may not be in the mix at all at this point.
  9. Haskin from Lone Oak. Who had heard of this team before the season had started? You can talk about their lack of competition all you want - they are still the Class 4A runner-up.
  10. Are we forgetting possibly the biggest debate? Highlands won their 17th state title, while Trinity won their 18th - correct me if I'm wrong. Who has the best program in KY history - Highlands or Trinity? Chew on that for a while!
  11. According to calpreps.com, it is: 1.) Trinity 2.) Highlands 3.) St. Xavier 4.) Bowling Green 5.) Lexington Catholic 6.) DuPont Manual 7.) Henry Clay 8.) Ft. Campbell 9.) Boone 10.) Hardin
  12. Where did that information come from?
  13. Didn't you hear? Mike Ditka is coming out of retirement. He said he wants another title with da' Bears.
  14. How many 2000-yard rushers have we had in Harlan County?
  15. What all teams have a 10-game, or less, freshman schedule?
  16. Anyone know anything about the 13th region 8th grade tournament that is going to be held at Whitley Co? I know Hall Elementary School (Harlan) is going to be in it. I think Harlan Ind. 8th grade will be in it as well.
  17. That's what I was wondering. Hopefully we can get that done.
  18. What all teams in Easter and Central Kentucky play Freshman games? It doesn't seem like there are a lot of teams who have enough freshmen to play seperate games.
  19. I don't know how tall he is, but Cawood didn't have anyone who could guard him. He killed Cawood!
  20. So I can get a pass to all of the games for $30? I was dreading paying $60.
  21. What is the latest scoop on Bud Mackey?
  22. I'll take: Belfry - 35 Breathitt - 14 I hope whoever wins this game, brings back the state championship trophy.
