I thought some of you Louisville/ Lexington fans would like to read an article about football in the 1920's. He talks about riding a train to the games. I cracked up when he talked about Louisville being a tough/rough bunch. Travel back in time!! 1928 Style!!

I'd enjoy seeing home and homes with all the older teams that Manual used to play in the old days. Teams like Hopkinsville, Ashland, Owensboro, Danville, Corbin, as well as Somerset used to be regulars in the past. It would be nice to retrace some steps and play them again.

“Louisville Manual seemed to beat us ever year,” Taylor recalled. “They would punch us in the ribs and shove us down to the ground and almost every play. They were a tough team to play.”
