Those days are still in effect in some households. My children have been brought up to respect people. I know many families who have great children who are very respectful to anyone they meet. These are just a few bad apples in a big barrell. There parents are probable just about the same as they are. I can only speak for the children that play for Russell. The ones that I have seen are very respectful. Yes the bad apples are out there but they are not the majority.

Keep in mind. A Russell fan did not make that statement. I have never seen a soft Mason County team. They are always ready to play. I will second the thing about trash talk. We don't need it. Neither does Mason County. The teams will be ready without it.

Without a doubt Mason County has one of the finest Coaches to walk the sideline. No disrespect to Mason County but even with homefield advantage which I think is very important, I think Russell will pull this one out. I sure hope they do because I really don't want to drive that AA two times in one year.

Ashland does not have a tough schedule. Bottom line. They are just not that good this year. It happens at all levels of high school football. Well except for the private schools.

Right or wrong I can assure you this loss helped Russell grow more than they would have if they won. When you win you are happy and rarely review the things you did wrong in the game. Loose and thats all you think about. What could I have done as a player to win that game. I'm telling you. This loss hurt Mason County more than anyone. I don't know who will win this Friday. But you can be assured that Russell will leave it all on the field.

Maybe they can't add and that's the problem. I'll send them a calculator.

The game is really for home field advantage when they play the playoff game.

Does anyone really know how they come up with this list? It sure is not based on win loss record. Does it have anything to do with what class they are in? No not that. How about who they think can beat the other. No can't be that because of the East West thing. What is the logic?

I think win or loose Russell will leave it all on the field. I'm glad we are playing Mason County again. Two of the best games I have ever seen were the last two times we played the Royals. Sure I hope the result is the same.

I really don't know why we have to throw blame to anyone. I have said it for the past three years. A loss for Russell to a none district team is the best thing that could ever happen to them. It will make them play harder. Look what happened to Russell after the loss to Boyd and Ashland. They only went to the championship game. I'm not saying that that is what is going to happen but it's not a bad thing to loose a game about this time of year. I'm just curious Yahoo83 you state that Breathett, Belfry, and Mason are all better than Russell in your opinion. Who were they playing when you watched them play?? Comparing football teams is very hard to do at this level. I can assure you win or loose the Russell players will leave it all out on the field when they play Mason County.

Yes there were. Russell actually came out flat in the second half IMO. The only scores were two field goals. This was after they scored 35 in the first half. I think that contributed to the loss more than anything. We just could not close the deal.
