The 14th is weak this year and the 10th is just stacked. Bourbon Co. is probably the 6th or 7th best team in that region.

Mason's quickness and athletic ability could give South some problems, but South will win by 15+ in this one.

I haven't seen Ashland play yet this year, but I did last year and I remember that they had a very young fundamental team. However, quickness seemed to be there weakness and I think this game will be a good one to watch. If North begins to play like they are capable of playing, they should win IMO. NL by 5

You did recognize the referees didn't you? 12th region officials . Not a surprise to me at all, an I know exactly what you are talking about.

You were the only person who placed NL at 4th in the region, therefore, most people picked them 2nd in the region. Getting to watch NL play for most of the season confirms my reasoning. your's is obviously not considering most of the people who picked them 2nd have seen them more than you have.

I agree, but the 13th region isn't exactly what you would call the state's best. I would like to see how they match up with Scott Co. or J-Town. Scott Co. is the best team that I have seen so far this year in KY. I would love to see a Pendleton Co./SL matchup this week in the Hoopin' It Up.

NL played didn't play that well, pretty sloppy defensively. Shawn Asher played a very solid game along with Allen, who played more like himself tonight. The Lowe kid can really play offensively. Mason Co./NL should be a good game to watch.

Exactly. I've seen SL play alot better so far this season. They seemed to play alot more selfishly against Corbin, shooting alot of three's.

1. North Laurel lost 4 starters and 7 seniors 2. North Laurel's schedule was rated the hardest in th state by the coaches. 3. The game was played at Leslie Co., winning anywhere in the mountains is very tough.

Corbin got alot better calls against South Friday night. South didn't play that well, either. I do however agree though that in MOST cases there is a homecourt advantage, however, that has was not the case at South Laurel Friday night. The score would have been the same or higher at Corbin, unless what happened there two years ago would have occurred. Your saying a 35 point loss is not as bad as an 18 pppoint loss, how? They are both losses, it doesn't really matter, but I've seen both teams play against the defending state champs and NL has alot better chance to beat them than Corbin. At the NL/SL game the referees did a great job, calling the game very fair IMO.

I agree ukbell. For you, addout, to say that Corbin didn't get a fair shake at SL is a very incorrect statement. The officials gave Corbin every single call, trying to keep them in the game, and they still got beat by 40. SL is just that good. To compare a 40 point difference to a 18 point one based on the officiating that was in these two games is just insane.

North beat Cawood by 15, played South Laurel better than anyone has in the region, best backcourt in the region, toughest schedule in the state, beat 14th region contender Leslie Co. on the road, played 2 Top 5 teams in 2 days(Lost to Bryan Station by 15 and Lost to SL by 16). These reasons are pretty convincing to me, my opinion may change, but right now NL is the second best team in the region.

How anyone can argue with NL being #2 blows my mind. It just amazes me how people just can't accept the fact that Laurel Co. teams have moved to the 13th and are 1 & 2. My top ten: 1. SL 2. NL 3. B-ville 4. Clay Co. 5. Cawood

No. They have the talent to repeat and win it all, it's just so hard to do in Kentucky.

Henry Clay is just too big, fast, and talented. SL has had a good run so far but the Blue Devils will be too much. HC- 35 SL-14
