My guess is that the majority of the people who start these stupid threads aren't adults who have contributed directly to the program. They are either directly out of high school, in high school, or have moved into Ft. Thomas for their kids b/c they feel that little Johnny is the next all state player. I read the post. You stated he was probably a young person, moved to Ft Thomas, yada, yada. NONE of which is true. Oh wait you were right on one thing he's not apart of the Highlands program. :thumb:

No, I don't!!!! Three or so years ago I would have said yes about X only because of person on the broadcast team. That person is no longer on the team. John, Tony and Henry are class guys and do a great job. If they were homers I would say it! I listen and know a good amount about Sports Radio Broadcasting. I think its more about you disliking X or T than to give them a fair shake.

I remember back in the day the Eastern/T games were exciting to watch. Unfortunately this hasn't been the case in some time and looking for Friday to be the same.

Hey, I'm not going to sit here and say I never do it. But if and when I do, I try to make light and have a little fun with the thread. Its just getting really old....almost to the point I don't want to read many BGP threads. I open/read threads because I really want to read what happened in a game! So can anyone tell me some specifics about this game?

I will speak for X and T on this. They get radio coverage because they pay a station broadcast rights. At T (Trinity teacher, Wayne Kraus) bust his behind to get companies (mainly T alums) to sponsor the broadcast t(o pay the fees) in order to get in on air. The same goes for X with the exception that a 3rd party manages their sports radio network and has done so for well over 15 years. It takes a tremendous amount ot time and effort to manage these broadcast. So you think X/T announcers are homers? In efforts to stay on topic of this thread as well? What is the status of the Seneca QB and his injury?
