Who is playing better than East right now besides Elliott? They are probably #2 in the region right now, along with the other 2 62nd district teams right behind them.

I honestly believe the best 4 teams in the 16th region are members of the 62nd district. East dismantled Fairview tonight, Morgan handled Raceland with ease, and West blasted Lewis Co.

East Carter/Lex. Cath has been changed to March 6th @ East Carter.

If Morgan would have won last night, West could have been the #4.

It could have been the poor wording in the tie-breaker system that caused all the mess. It stated 2 teams that were tied and should have stated any tie will be settled with head to head point differential. It was a mess any way you cut it, hopefully it is now fixed for the future. Definitely a tough situation for all involved.

I believe all girls first round games are on Monday the 23rd. Elliott vs Morgan boys on Tues. 24th East vs West boys on Wed. 25th Girls finals Thurs. 26th Boys finals Fri. 27th. Not sure on start times.

I think so. It's a shame, all of the teams in the 62nd are playing at a high level right now. Obviously no one wants Elliott Co. in the first round. I am sure Morgan Co. will be ready, they are extremely well coached.

Good win for the Raiders. East had many more athletes and weapons. Rams looked young, and really struggled to handle the basketball, especially with Boyles on the bench.

Have you been watching their practices in the indoor facility at lockwood? They are always tough, and no doubt will be again this year. Always a top contender in the 16th.

East beat up on Ashland all fall as well, something like 3 or 4 times. I agree Greenup is the top dog. Tier 2 is Boyd, East, Ashland, tier 3 is Russell, Morgan, Raceland, and maybe Fairview.

62nd district is definitely the class of the 16th.

Actually Barnhill is a legitimate post player, and Knipp is more of a wing forward combo. Do Garbage players use either hand on jump hooks, use up and under moves, and even nail the occasional 18 footer? Colt will play at the next level as well. College coaches can see right through a kid, they know who will cut it at the next level, They know who is willing to work hard and give 110% on every possession and who coasts alot of the time.

I thought Barnhill played extremely well, if Knipp worked as hard as Colt he would be special.

I would say maybe Jeremy Webb, then maybe Bush or the coach at Menifee.

Currently 44/46 states have classification in baseball, 4 states have no high school baseball. I think it is for the betterment of the sport to class baseball into 3 classes in KY. Someone tell one of the football champions there title is watered down because of classification and I bet they would disagree whole-heartedly. They would also show you that beautiful ring on their finger that says State Champions!!!

I believe that so-called football coach played 4 years of college baseball.
