It's simple. They don't care. John Petett cares, but Monroe Co. schools may not care. Don't get me wrong. They loved it when he won 3 Region Titles, but it's more "what can you do for me John?". It's sad. It's like this at alot of places.

Arnett has 2 state titles.

Watch out for Owensboro Catholic. THEY always seem to have a QB after a really good one. They just seem to produce them like a factory. Here's my list: 1. Arnett 2. Burns 3. Henderson 4. Bouchard- What the offense going to be without Stratton, LeCroy, and the whole Senior OL. If he had them back I would put him 2, MAYBE #1.

Only one I might ask why is Dee Cain not on the list? He has verballed to WKU. Other then that it's pretty solid.

Guys WHO CARES. Let's be glad these news outlets recognize kids. Don't be a sour grapes. Then when they quit doing this. You guys will say, "Well our state never gets recognized."

Catholic did not return everyone. They only had 13 seniors in the roster and only 7 start. That's hardly returning everybody. Catholic lost a RB, LB, 3WR, and linemen and everyone said they were DONE. "Zuberer will have to do it ALL" Look, Clevenger could of won the award, but the guy that should of won it over both them didn't. Joe Morris should of won!! Period! 4 state titles in a row and won 2-A after EVERYONE said noway mayfield wins 2-A. Except the Mayfield people. They are the only ones who believed. Joe Morris should of won 2-A. My opinion the coach that wins state should be coach of the year in the class. Clevenger won 2-A coach of the year by the coaches association, right?

ATL, You got to realize that this was voted on by coaches not Sports Writers. There are about 50+ kids that get Hon Mention or Nothing that should. Kentucky has 3 teams and it's a shame some kids don't get on it. I was shocked some kids didn't get on it. Sometimes the AP All State team is different. SO, there might be a chance some kids that didn't make it may make that team. We have ALL SEEN kids that are very deserving not make it that should. I thought Ray Zuberer should of easily been a Mr. Football Candidate, but at the end of the day he's not. Just my 2 cents.

Edge did not return everyone. He had a young OL and a ver very young D lead by only with 2 seniors. Joe Morris should of won. He won 4 straight state titles. Brought mayfield from from 1a to 2a when everyone doubted them. Clay should of won too.

I thought Class of the Commonwealth was coming out today? I look at other states and their All State teams are already done. Why does it take this long for KY?

Bought a courier journal today, NO All state team. Why? Very inconsistent dates year after year. tell me there is too much debate or politics on the ALL State team. Last year it was out on Christmas Day.

Judo is a martial art great for leverage. Boxing great for the eye hands. Wrestling good for finishing a play. Even put kids in positions to see if they can get out of and finish. Good topic. Let's keep it going. Anyone with any ideas keep it going.

Coaches don't nominate Mr. Football. I think the AP writers do. I know courier journal and the two all star teams you do.

I think the assessment of Owensboro Cath is pretty good. I don't think their head coach is 40 yet("I'm 40", Mike Gundy) Kind of amazing for a guy that became head coach in 2004 he's still not 40?

Guys. It seems Colquitt County is happy with their decision. Watch the E:60 show where it shows his off the field crap, but watch what the superintendent said. Very powerful and moving. The Coach and the Community help each other. They help him and give him a second chance and he helps them make their football program a National Power and he has. They have totally forgotten what he has done. The only people that haven't are we who keep replying on this thread.

Some coaches can motivate better then some.

Is there anyone in the Colquitt Co. Community upset with him? Watch the ESPN special about him. It talks about his shortcoming with his ex wife and how he led a double life. Watch the Superintendent comment "He who has not sinned throw the first stone." But she went on and said "If you do such things like this again. I will say things to you only a mother should say to their son." There is an agreement between them. If you help get our football program resurrected we will help you with your weakness in life. It seems to be working for both. I don't see her wanting to fire him.

If he does this all the time to motivate and the kids love it cause he wins then NO their won't be a problem. In KY there might be a problem because if they did they would be fired. We are not a Football State, but some schools may use this technique to win games and the parents might be ok with it. Some schools in this state may NOT like this technique and the coach would be fired. It seems at Colquitt Co. it is ok. I do not see the parents of this football player suing Rush Propst or the school. You want to know why? Because they know that the head butt was a motivational thing. HELL Rush Propst got the worst of the deal. It's not like Rush Propst put a helmet on and head butted a kid without the helmet. I think this is really getting blown out of proportion. If this kid did not want to win and play for state titles and get head butted then he wouldn't go to Colquitt Co High School.

If you don't know Rush then you just can't comment. He is a great motivator and a great coach.
