Even if the coach is coming from another school? Won't he be hired to teach too? If not then there are slot of school systems that can do better in the hiring dept.

Then screw the committee. I didn't know we had any admin that "the buck stops here" mentality in KY anymore. Even better. This goes back to my short list theory. Any admin worth a darn has a short list.

What's that tell ya? They don't care or not a high priority. I know you will hear the "Well we want to hire a quality coach." Ok, who doesn't? That's why any smart AD or principal, whoever makes the hire has to have a short list of people they would like to apply. First call the people on the short list to apply. They will give you a simple yes or no. If yes, tell them how to apply online. If no simply erase their name off the list, you may put them back on once the hire has been made. Getting back to the hiring process. If you have people on the list interested then interview them, keep in mind you have 30days to post the job online. During that time set up your interview committee, order subway sandwiches for each night or day of interviews. We wouldn't want to ask questions on an empty stomach. You may also start an interview or if you want to wait til 30 days are up that's fine, but have a goal or time frame you want to hire for the search committee. Also, collect all the resumes and decide what applicants you want to interview. If you interview 10 maybe do 2-3 a night and meet with the committee. If you think you have a winner then name them the head coach, if not take 2-3 applicants and interview 1 more time. Keyword 1 more time. If you have to reinterview people 3-4 times then you should not hire anyone.

Trust me. You can shut out teams offense and your O scores 28, but the other team TD's scored off 3 Pick 6's and a fumble Recovery for a TD and win by a 2pt conversion and people on here will look a the score and say well they lost because of their D.

In smaller school settings your resources are far worse then in a big school setting. Now some small school settings have big resources, 98% don't. There are some Big schools who just don't care about football. Example, Dunbar High school in Lexington cares more for Cheerleading then they do Football. Fact.

Very Very Good Points. I think Morris is a guy that will get it done. The question is does Henderson like the direction the program is in? If so, then Morris is their guy. IF not, then it's open. IMHO. Morris is their guy. But I'm not on the hiring committee.

Now that's funny! I was told stats did not have anything to do with Mr. Football. Ray Zuberer threw the last two year for more yards and TD passes then everyone and the only answer I can come up with is this. If you verbal or at least get an offer from UK/UL then you will be or have a good chance to be Mr. Football.

The problem with Henderson Co. and I've said this for a long time, is they don't want to share athletes. If they did they would be in the finals in 6-A a few times. Not saying they would win, but you got to get there first. If you look they don't share athletes.

South Warren will be in BG district next year according to the NUMBERS. Should be interesting.....

Add ALL Bowling Green, GravesCo, Owensboro, Caldwell, Paducah Tilghman, McCracken Co., Butler Co. and whoever MrKnowNothing wants to put on the list. I would also want MrKnowNothing to set the lines for WesternKY. Many say I65 and west. Some say penyrile and west. There even some that say purchase parkway area or LBL only.

Both are great players. Kincer gets to the ball and Landon does a great job of not making serious mistakes to lose a game.

This topic will depend on who you ask. Not many D1 players in KY? I say not many but there are always a handful or two handfuls.
