I thought Anderson was going to West Virginia thats a pretty decent school.

HSSRB is probably right. I just can picture Elder losing a few in conference and maybe the annual Oak Hills game or something, if they are playing this year. Elder is Elder there good but I don't think they are that great this year. I haven't been following high school as much as I used too. Is it true Elder had a losing year last year or was that a false rumor I read somewhere.. almost hard to believe. In any case, their off to a good start this year.

Not many teams do

Their conference won't be friendly to them and I see them maybe getting upset once. OH is not KY playoffs. It's a lot harder to get in. I remember Elder teams going 8-2 and not getting in.

I am going to sound crazy here. But this really isn't that great of an Elder team. I think they are on a down year and will struggle to get in the playoffs in OH. HHS is going to have their hands full against St. X.

Wow I am surprised. NCC must have really taken a hit to graduation.

He is also ejected from next weeks game. That used to be the golden rule in KY. I believe it still stands.

A lot of birds fans were pretty high off last weeks win, but like I said I would rather judge a game vs a quality team. Sounds like it was a good battle but HHS have things to work on obviously.

OJ is out of NCH. He is on his way to WV... its a done deal I heard.

OJ is a great ball player.. but the luggage and drama he causes is JOKE.

I haven't been tracking football as much as I used to. Is that game in Ft. Thomas finally? Yeah im sure thats great for the Birds but I never really have been to that place and seen it rocking.... I know its a smaller stadium. Majority of the crowd seems to be adults. Heck the loudest ive seen it get is against CCH when those idiots (hope I dont offend anyone) in the student section do the Florida State tomahawk chop, when their team in no way or form respresents anything to do with a seminole or FSU for that matter. If its in Ft. Thomas that place will be off limits anywhere within miles of the school. I remember back at Boone CO when Elder came to Florence, they were in our parking lot tailgating at 4:30. It was crazy!

That's what I hear but with Elder they have that EVERY year not some years. I know Highlands won't be afraid, I respect them for standing up to Elder a lot of KY teams wouldn't have anything to do with them.

They had a line and great players with Gino twice and it didn't happen..the years following that it didn't happen... Elder usually has a few D-1 LB's or Lineman.. I just don't see Kramer walking all over them. Like somebody else said HHS will have to pass.

Highlands is not more disciplined then Elder. I would say they are equal programs. Very good programs. For the match up I gotta go with Elder. From what I hear it will be a speed vs size and I don't see a Kramer led attack running all over Elder. However, this is not as strong of an Elder team as it has been the past few years. Maybe Highlands will get the monkey off their backs.

Gonna be real ugly. JV game whole second half.

Welcome to Price Hill. Elder has some of the worst fans you will find. Thats why I really enjoyed watching Trinity and Warren Harding beat the living heck outta them.

As I said in the update thread... gotta play 4 quarters with the Cincy boys. Too many T.O.'s for CCH. Too bad this Elder team is not as strong as the past Elder teams. Might have been best shot for a winner.

It is very unfortunate.. ive seen a lot of NKY teams play 3, 3 1/2, good quarters with a team like Elder, Moe, Lasalle, and buckle at the end.

Really too bad.. this Elder team is clearly not as strong as the past Elder teams. Probably a NKY teams best shot at them.
