  1. Not positive, but I believe since 1978 or 79. I do know he took over for his brother-in-law Don Snopek.
  2. I know a former player from Rowan Co. has applied. Stokes is his last name.
  3. I've seen Coach Breeden in Lexington a couple of times in the last month. He would like to get back in that area of the state I think. He would be a great hire.
  4. Well, isn't Harrison Co. undefeated in KY? Why are they just #20? It's too early in the season to do any rankings anyway.
  5. I'll confirm that. As far as his coaching, I'm still up in the air. We'll see how he does in a real conference.
  6. Probably have to block wrestling so they have enough $$ to pay for their boys basketball coach.
  7. I totally agree. I just thought it was kind of funny.
  8. St. X....#23 in the nation and #3 in the state. Doesn't make much sense.
  9. BCG is holding a press conference at 10:00 this morning to talk about "some things." I'm guessing one is that DJ is gone. Bad stuff imo.
  10. That and cheesy tots! Hard to beat after a long night at Two Keys!!
  11. Oh yeah! And for some reason, there "busy time" is from 2am-4am.:sssh:
  12. I totally agree with the statement in bold. As for the admin., I can't comment. I have no clue.
  13. Congrats to Coach Combs and the kids! Keep it up!
  14. Like him or not, the man gets it done and deserves this honor more than anyone. http://www.cynthianademocrat.com/cgi-bin/storyviewnew.cgi?081+Sports.200842-4529-081-081006.Full+Sports
  15. It was on the 6:00 news (WKYT). Hate to hear Coach Hans is leaving LC. But I totally understand the move. He was still living in NKY and driving to Lexington everyday. That had to be hard. Best of luck to him at Holy Cross.
  16. It might be OK if the courses were "$350" caliber courses, but they aren't.
  17. If you go to a nice restuarant the servers are usually very knowledgeable about wines. The servers are Merrick Inn are probably the best in Lexington. They've had good training (from my wife )! But seriously, most of the non-chain restaurants in Lexington have servers that know what they are doing when it comes to wine. Plus, if you use a little common sense, you will know what to order (white with pasta, chicken. Red with meat, etc.)
  18. Louisville Zoo is WAY too hilly!!
