  1. Here's the website for Rossi's. http://www.rossis-restaurant.com/ I'm a big fan of the bourbon glazed shrimp and scallops. Not sure if they still have it. They have one of, if not the best, wine lists in Lexington.
  2. Malone's is WAY over-rated in my opinion. If I'm going to eat at an up-scale restaurant in Lexington I would pick Merrick Inn, Murray's, and Rossi's over Malone every time.
  3. He is a junior at Montgomery Co. HS right now. Is that what you are asking??
  4. Lexington Area- Joe Bologna's NKY/Cincinnati area- LaRosa's and Montgomery Inn Western KY- Patti's (home of the 2" thick pork chop)
  5. I agree that Coach Combs is an excellent coach, but state power may be pushing it a bit far. I don't know if the talent pool in MC is very high in the coming years and the competitiion in the 10th is a little stronger than that in the 14th (or 13th, whatever region Lee Co. is in).
  6. I agree that it awards the defense for playing hard D, but how many times is it called a game? 2 maybe. And the officials never inforce it properly. "Closely guarded" is 6 feet. That's approx. from the foul line to the top of the circle. I've seen players get much closer than than and the refs spread their arms open, indicating they are not within the 6 feet.
  7. I believe that the 5 second "closely guarded" rule needs to thrown out. The rule made since when the shot clock was 45 seconds, but I think it can be eliminated now.
  8. Think about it....for a jump ball, you have to first make sure you have the correct players jumping. Then you've got to line the rest of the players up around the circle. Then you run into problems like lining up the players the wrong way, bad tosses, touching the ball before it's reached it's apex. With the posession arrow, you look at the table, point the direction of the arrow and take it it out. That sounds pretty time conserving to me!
  9. Really? I think the games are long enough as they are. I couldn't imagine how long they would be if you had to jump after every tie-up.
  10. Congrats to Coach Combs and the Indians on another nice win! Keep it up!
  11. Oh yeah! Best fishing I've ever had!
  12. I talked about these dang things in my class today! Of course none of the kids had any clue what I was talking about since they are only 14-15 years old! The one thing I remember from the last time they were out is that they make great fishing bait! The largemouth bass LOVED them!
  13. Paige is going to be a very special pitcher. Montgomery is LOADED this year in the circle, aren't they? Isn't Compton thier #2 pitcher???
  14. I keep track of the PGA pretty closely. Some of my favorites to keep up with on the tour include: That Woods guy The Kentucky boys Daniel Chopra Bubba Watson
  15. Glad to see the Birds and Coach Johnson off to the good start! Keep it up!!!!!
  16. I want Kansas to win, but I think Memphis will pull it out. 79-70 Tigers.
  17. I don't think even he can come up with something to expalin this! HOLY COW!! This is incredible!
  18. He was doing that game, but he was at the opposite end of the floor when the "no call" happened.
  19. For what it is worth, the state of Kentucky is represented in this year's Final Four. Tom Eades of Greenville (Muhlenburg Co.) is officiating the UNC/Kansas game. Congrats to him on this accomplishment!
  20. Mine needs 5 or 6 band-aids. There are red marks all over it!
  21. I don't know which is worse, thinking about this or looking at your avatar.:creepy:
  22. Oops. It was Harrison/Owen that had a thread already. Sorry about that. I don't know what Grant Co. has this year. I'll take the Breds in 5 though.
