  1. It pains me that I don't have HBO right now. I love this show! The Franchise was great too but only saw the Giants one.
  2. Funny Little+Davis were 2 of the next 3 guys I was looking at. I almost pulled the trigger on Little.
  3. First time I can remember not having season tickets in our family since 1980!!!! Hopefully UK starts getting the hint that the fans have higher expectations than lip service as far as support for football.
  4. High School: Lawrence Co, Paintsville, Lex Cath, North Oldham College: UK, Notre Dame, Tenn, Bama, GA MLB: Reds, Braves, Yanks NFL: Cowboys, Ravens, Pakcers, Colts (close friend coaches for the Chargers so I always pull for him wherever he is) NBA: Bulls, Celts NHL: Nobody really I guess Nash/CBus NASCAR: JJ
  5. Starting RB for Pitt J Dwyer :-) I like Benson pick. He'll land somewhere.
  6. I was between Wright/Moss/Blackmon. That's why this league is so tough. All signs are that Moss has been the best WR in SF and he's been outstanding leader wise.
  7. I think you always shoot for number one. You challenge yourself everyday to get better. You go do your best and you can live with that. I've won it all before and I've been really close. There is no feeling like winning it all because you are #1 and that can never be taken. We were 3 points from 1st state championship ever+ final 4 in baseball growing up. Still to this day it bugs me we didn't win it but I am incredibly proud of what we accomplished and know we did our best. You can live with that. Teams that lose Super Bowl, World Series etc. I'd say feel the same way. It bugs them the didn't win it all but they realize what a huge thing they have accomplished. To me as a coach that's why I try to preach to the kids enjoy the journey! We push everyday to be number one. To challenge ourselves everyday as players+coaches to get better by doing little things knowing that if we go as hard as we can we can live with the outcome. You have to enjoy the journey though because there is only 1 winner.
  8. I'm doing the Mud Ninja Sat. I coach football too. One of the best things I've had receivers do in the past for grip is to do towel pull ups. Basically just throw a towel over a pull up bar then do your pull ups holding the towel on each end. I've seen pitchers like Clemmens do the hand in the barrel of corn thing. Never done it but it's supposed to be good. Might find it on youtube or something.
  9. Text me if I'm up tomorrow I'll check in on my phone. I'm running in the Mud Ninja (shorter Tough Mudder) around Columbus Sat. Might be out of commission if I haven't picked by around 10:00 Sat morning. Will have phone back on around 6ish. If I die I pass my team on to the person you all vote deserves a championship but hasn't gotten one yet.
  10. That's funny stuff. I sure miss living in Louisville! I had a blast my 7 years in that area! Jim Porter's makes me laugh. One of the old guys I used to work for would swear by that place. We went with him once and had to get the bouncers to kick him out to our car because he wouldn't leave lol!
  11. I love it and talk about making some serious cash in apparel!
  12. That's all rumors. I've got family playing and coaching there. It had zero to do with the Administration. Outsiders started the conspiracy theory that they ran the coaches off for BM to get the job. The reality is it' was Keith Adkins job but he stayed at Cviile. BMR has been one of the best basketball coaches in the states history. I'm estatic that my nephew gets to play for him and he is too. He is a disciplinarian that knows the attitude it takes to win and accepts nothing less. He had planned on doing just football but things worked out and he's doing both this year. No talk has been made about the next year doing both. Paintsville has a great young group of talent. They started 3 8th graders last year that won even in the post season. That group of baseball + football both went to state. The future is bright at one of the best academic schools in the state. The team will be led by Sr Trevor Tiller who is one of the most athletic kids in the state and is an outstanding kid/leader too! He will play at the next level if he wants too.
  13. Just don't understand how you don't have Stone Cold there. The Rock is so much fun! I love the last spitting slap lol.
  14. Got in late but sure brings back a lot of old memories. Fun seeing all the old guys back.
  15. As bad as it pains me to give up this pick I'm pretty sure the deal I made for Ray Rice was a 3rd+6th to Blue Magic.
