The Marshals were absolutely horrible from the free throw line in this contest. Gillespie benched his starters in the 4th quarter and was madder than a wet hen on his postgame show. Seemed to have worked because they picked up a nice road district win against Calloway last night.

Those are worse than the Lit rankings.

Graves County should be higher than University Heights: 1.) They beat UHA in head to head competition 2.) Their two losses, both ranked in their respective states, are a combined 21-1. 3.) They absolutely destroyed North Broward, Danny Haney's current team.

Marshall County is currently 6-0.

The two games I've seen Mayfield play in this season were against Marshall County and Paducah Tilghman. Cards fans will be glad to hear that I won't be able to make the trip to Louisville this weekend.

Absolutely, Rowton has a great radio voice and he's exciting to listen too. Leahy provides great football insight and a passion that tells it like it is. The Marshall County crew is great because they're on an hour before the game starts and their postgame is pretty lenghty also. We're blessed to have these great radio teams in far western Kentucky.

After Christian County got pasted from Marshall County a few weeks ago, my hat goes off to the Colonels for bouncing back. It takes a lot of guts to not lay down after that game and they have my upmost respect!

Complete Cardinals dominance: Mayfield had 48 rushes for 306 yards. Add 74 passing yards and that's 380 total yards! Meanwhile, the Mayfield defense held Metcalfe County to 30 rushes for 44 yards. The Hornets added 51 passing yards for a total of 95 yards. WOW!! Seems like they're peaking at the right time.

He made one to defeat Marshall County from about the same distance.

Man that one hurt the Tigers tremendously!

I've said all along that Bardstown was the best 1A team I've seen all season since their first game of the year against LaRue. Should be an interesting one next week at Mayfield.
