Definitely a lot of Waylon influence in his music. He's by far the best thing to happen to country music in a long time. First "real" country I've heard in a while.

Solid player. Even as an 8th grader he was holding his own against the big boys on the Varsity level.

96' and 98' Paintsville hands down. Then you have.... Early 90's Clay County and MC Napier teams 94' Harlan 92' Belfry was pretty good. The Allen Central teams with Hall in the late 90's were pretty good as well. Randy McCoy had a couple decent teams at Elkhorn City especially 92'-94'.

Trey Lyles has had Meningitis the last couple of weeks so that may keep him out for the Indiana squad. Going to be a tough road for the Kentucky team either way but it would certainly help their chances.

They've made a handful of appearances but had been on the losing end the last few seasons.

Congrats Belfry! All of Pike County is proud of you guys for bringing home another one. Sweet 16 basketball title, couple All-A state titles, middle school basketball championship, football state 3A championship (four straight title games), and baseball final four all within a few years. Not a bad showing last few years county wide across all sports, so who says mountain boys can't compete?

Congrats! I was super impressed when he played at East Ridge as an 8th grader, it's usually hard for a lot of the mountain kids to really impress me. Growing up and playing here you just know it is what it is. Good, fundamentally sound kids, but usually lacking the physical traits to really set them apart and put them at a D1 level. However, I knew Cam was destined to go big time D1. Only kid around the same age I think was at the same level was Elisha Justice and he eventually got some run at UL. This is comparing them as 8th graders, but obviously now Cam has expanded his game a lot and turned into a 2G instead of staying a point guard. I think his ability to be a combo guard will help him find playing time in orange before his time there is up. Sad to say, but this may be the first time I pull for something Tennessee.

Hate to judge him like that but I have to agree. I've never saw a player more about himself and less about basketball and everything that comes with it. If he swallowed his ego and put the work in he has the natural gifts, unfortunately I don't see him ever reaching his full potential.

I agree, I think Marshall is the perfect place for him to grow as a player. Lot of people criticizing him for not trying to go to a bigger D1 such as Butler or somewhere else, but I don't think hes ready for the highest levels of D1 yet. It's going to take him a season or two to get a feel for the college game at Marshall, much less a big time basketball conference. I think at Marshall he has a place where he can grow as a player and eventually grow into some solid minutes for the Herd.

Same here, I gave up all hope once I heard a name. They are saying he may have got into some big time trouble up in Maryland, so if that's true it's the only chance this would even have to be true. Other than a situation like that there's no way he ends up there.

One last thing, I heard that the Morgan kid may have got into some kind of trouble up in Maryland and that may be the cause of some of these transfer rumors.

Another one of the rumors is a foreign exchange student from Argentina, 6'6'' or so I've heard. Again, not sure how true that one is either.

Hearing now that the kid rumored from Baltimore is Dwayne Morgan! The same Dwayne Morgan that is in scouts top 25 for 2014 and 5* SF. I must say I am very skeptical this actually happens, I mean why would a top 25 kid leave a private school in Baltimore for the hills of Pike County? Doesn't make sense or seem likely, but then again you can't ever count out Randy McCoy. If he gets this done then wow! I've heard the family has moved, and he is already ruled eligible. I've heard hes been at a few open gyms and then I've heard he hasn't been at school yet and hasn't even left Maryland. Hoping to get a resolution on this soon, I don't look for it to happen but he would immediately be the best player in the state if it did.

It's big time in EKY. Lot of big rivalries and match ups. The student sections can get pretty into it as well.

Are they already in school or rumored to be coming?

Most of the times I watched him play was when he was younger and he was playing PG. Only seen him a few times last couple of seasons and that is on tv and not in person. He was a heck of a pg when he was a frosh, I only figured that progression would continue. As far as young talent goes the only young PG I had saw who was better at the same age was Elisha Justice, and to be honest they were both at about the same level really, not sure if Elisha was that much better.

All I'm going to say is if Randy McCoy is coaching your team, you better believe he's going to find some players somewhere.

Yeah Johnny Miller is for real and seems like hes been around forever since he and Cam Justice both played as 8th graders. If Wolter plays and the rumor is true about another talent coming in they should be alright. They looked to have some decent players the couple of times I watched them last year.

They get Wolter back this year I've heard. Do you know if they're getting anyone else?

Wow is right, unless his attitude changes a big time program like that would eat him alive. He may grow up a little bit though, who knows?

I know Cam has evolved into more of a 2G, but Cam Justice is still a great PG whether or not he plays there more than he does the two spot. I watched him start as an 8th grader and he was amazing as a pure point guard then. I believe Justice is a great talent no matter what guard position he is playing, if he was a PG 100% of the time he would be one of the best in the state hands down.

Any good? I haven't listened to too much stuff past the NOLA album. That is probably one of my all time favorites though to be honest. Listened to some stuff off Down II and Down III but don't know every song like on NOLA. I always thought they were a very underrated metal band, love their sound. I like Pepper Keenan a lot, then you have Rex and Phil.
