Good top 3 but I wouldn't list Justice as a PG. I know he's forced to play that spot in high achool. He's a very good 2 guard, and deserves to be at the top in a list of KY players, but don't feel he's a top 3 PG.

Thanks for the additional names. I've always been a fan of Christen Cunningham.

 

I saw you listed Goodin. Is he a point guard or is that the position he will play in college? I've never known one way or the other.

That would be my assumption. I believe he's off ball on his AAU team. Has Beverly, Bolden and maybe even Kapinga?? as PG on there I believe.

I agree, I think. He's really just a special talent, but not necessarily a pure 1 or 2. I guess the "combo guard" label is as appropriate as any.

Seriously? You list the Stafford kid over Tre Ivory?

Have only seen a few mentioned here and those are all excellent choices, and I trust that the ones that I'm unfamiliar with are as well. I really dig the play of Bolden, Justice, and Beverly. Very solid players.

 

With that said, I'd like to throw Zach Pangallo of NewCath into the discussion. Kid is smooth with a great b-ball IQ and excellent instincts. Comes from a great b-ball family as well and has inherited great skills.

 

I truly expect a dynamite season from him. He held his own quite nicely as a sophomore, and I can only imagine that just one year of maturity will be all it takes for people to really take notice if they already haven't. He's a real treat to watch on the court. I'm thrilled that he has two more high school seasons to show off his prowess.

Would've really liked to see him (Goodin) play up this year...he was a man among boys at the 15U level.

Agreed. His motor does not stop. He can wear you out just watching. Any team would be lucky to have the likes of him.
