Scott 69 Campbell County 43
Changes are needed for the Camels. Still struggling offensively and way too many TOs. You can not win when your starting 5 goes 6-19 with 14 TOs. Team has lost confidence, needs to regroup. Needs to find an offense they can score with. Scott was 25 of 46 from the field shooting, 11 for 23 from the three.

Holmes 47 Campbell Co 36
Yes he played a good game. Great ball handler. Austin Hill is a very good player and the Camels had no answer for him. Very strong player with an aggressive move to the basket. Refs let them play which hurt the Camels. Hill ended up with 23 points. Leading scorer for the Camels was Jon Verst with 10 points. Camels played a strong first half but Holmes countered in the second half and shut the Camels down offensively and the Camels did not make adjustments. Credit to the Holmes team...these players have taken advantage of this opportunity, hope this sends a message to their teammates.

Yes he is a great guy, nice as can be and a great coach. I am sure just gets a little intense but I am sure that is what makes him such a great coach.

Pendleton County 61 Brossart 58
That really does not surprise me, we were seated behind the BB bench once and some of the language we heard was also intense to say the least. Really was not coming from the players though. Not what we expected to hear. I guess in the heat of the moment it could be hard to control yourself. Good win for PC but I am sure that Brossart will rebound. Good Luck to both teams.

Fair question with the behavior of Coach Code after other losses.

No he is not the announcer. Not sure of this guys name. The volume was too loud I agree.

I was also very surprised about the missed front ends of the bonus but I think that the Camels should be given credit for the steals and getting into the passing lanes. They are averaging over 10 steals a game.

Great high school atmosphere between these two teams last night. Camels came through in the end after giving up a lead early in the game. Bad third quarter for Campbell but in the end Brandon Griffin's layup to tie and Jon Verst's " NBA, rainbow, in the air for at least 10 seconds" three point shot gave the home team a win. Thanks for the drama Verst....Glad to see Jon's confidence is back, now some of the other players need to follow suit and "just play basketball" ! GO CAMELS!!

Mason County 56 Brossart 33
Wow now they know how it feels....their website banner touted how they held the Camels to 8 points in the first half last night, better watch what you rub in since they were down 9 - 27 at half tonight. Very surprised they were blown out by Mason Co. Mason must be for real!

Happytrails once again your comments are extremely negative. I believe Camel1 is a player and your words are alittle rough. I think that the players are trying and while they are struggling right now I feel that is it unfair for you to suggest that they do not care. Yes a coach with Reitz's experience deserves a team to produce for him year end and year out but let's be realistic in the real world as a manager you may have a group of excellent employees that make your job easy and then other times you earn your title of manager as you struggle to get the maximum production out of what you have. And a team's success is due to the coaches and the players and to single out either is unfair...it is a team not individuals. Your comment about the fans being content is also in my opinion off base..to date we have not even had a home game with most games over an hour away from school so the fans have predominately been family and friends of the players so I would expect more sympathy. They know what their sons have sacrificed to be a student athletes something you need to stop and reflect on before you decide to bash their effort and character. I can only wonder if next year and the year after when Brossart may take some licks will you jump on the bashing wagon and accuse them of lack of effort? As for the Camel players.....you know that you are better than you have shown to date, only you and your coaches can fix that, never give up and do not allow ANYONE to talk about you like this. Stay focused as a team and believe. For Brossart's players...you have a good team, enjoy this year because we will be back. P.S. Seeing you at the game last night I knew this rhetoric would begin.

How about that for no offense on the Camels part, good defense but the Camels could not buy a shot. Ugly..... outscored the Mustangs 38-34 in the second half but too little too late.

Brossart vs Campbell Part II (MCIT)
I will tell you that Brossart has a good team but you should tell all the facts: Campbell and Brossart both played and beat Silver Grove and Harrison Co to date and of the remaining wins for Brossart 4 came from teams with losing records ( Lloyd, Holy Cross, Highlands, Boyle Co) and of the remaining 4 wins over teams with winning records (Campbell Co, Clinton Co, Henry Clay and Montgomery) not sure about the record for Oak Hills in Cinti. So if you are going to spout records give them all.

10th Region Future
No I do not mean starting, I mean on the roster based upon the players this year. But as we know that can change. There are some really good underclassman that will undoubtly start or have valuable minutes but senior leadership is always a plus.

Campbell Co will be strong for the next several years, next years team will have 9 seniors several with more than two years varsity experience and a very strong junior class. The current JV team is undefeated in regular season play.

:thumb: Good observations. Eten has shown improvement over the last few games and I look for him to continue. He is very competitive and aggressive, now just needs to play his game. Great kid!

Enough? Well that is a coaching decision. He is coming in off the bench and getting alot of playing time. It has been a struggle over the past years to get these guys to play with their backs to the basket. Kenny has a sweet 10 ft jumper and Noah can make some great moves to the hoop but needs to do that more. Not sure the offense is geared to the inside play. Kenny knows he would get more playing time if he played better defense, he will improve on this I am sure.

Lexington Sayre 51 Campbell Co 41
They are averaging 54 points scored and holding opponents to 48 points earned. They have offensive talent so I would believe that this scoring average will go up. They have not had a home game yet so I would expect that shooting on your home court would be an advantage. Will have to wait and see how the inside game develops.

Lexington Sayre 51 Campbell Co 41
The Camels are playing some good defense holding their opponents to an average of under 50 points but is struggling on offense. They need to develop an inside game which is lacking at this time. This team will improve. At this time I feel that they are thinking too much and need to just go out and play aggressive basketball. Last night's game was closer than the score indicates, the Camels were down by 3 at half and were within 2 with around 4 min left in the game. They needed to put Sayre at the line at the end of the game and they hit all free throws. Sayre was 12-16 from the line while the Camels were only at the line 3 times. Difference in the game. For all of you Camel fans out there....we have not had a home game yet but they will be back in the Hump soon. Come out and support this team and lets show them that we "still believe".
