Good game by both teams. Word has it that Fern Creek's coaches and players showed alot of class before, during and after the game. Hats off to their program. As for the freshman QB, gutsy performance.

As you well know LSU, 7 on 7 is not the real thing. Shelby's QB will have 4-6 guys breathing down his neck, so don't except Shelby's passing game to be what it was in June. They did put up alot on points against Ballard, so you do have to wonder. Look for T's offense and defense to get stronger than last and a T victory by 35 points.

Did I say poor performance? I think I said mess up, which not all 16 or 17 years are perfect...Agree? I don't think throwing one interception is considered a poor performance, but the X's coaches do. Did you not read the rest of my post. I may need to rethink my prediction...Good luck to ya..

RINGTIME...What politics would have played in on Glaser's decision? Wade's father is one of the coaches. I think X has the luxury of having two good QB's. When Zoeller messes up in the Male game, Wade will get his chance, which he will. I think X will win, and I expect both QB's will see time. I see Vic and Duece breaking the line for long runs. Nasty weather caused a ton of fumbles. Apparently X forgot to wear their gloves and Male had theirs. Not surprised by the score, but Friday may be different.

X wins by 14 points. Why..because they're X, why not? Male will come out like they own the field and X will play hard nose football. Key word is discipline, X has it and Male doesn't. Male never will have it while Redman is there.

Congrats to all the seniors. Friday should be their special night. As for Tim, he is a special player, but the way the OL is blocking, they would make any RB look good. Keep it up OL. As for the D, not bad against Ballard, no score until the final seconds. Keep hitting hard. After this Friday, FC's qb will wish he came to Rockville.

Don't think Trinity will allow the Bruins to score as many points as Eastern this week. Look for the score to be in the 50's with Bruins score to be under 10 points. Rocks may have a few beat up players, but their replacements will do a fine job. GO ROCKS......

Was anyone aware that the JR QB for X is a pretty good baseball player? Granted there is a difference in the size of balls, but he has a good (strong) arm. Male now has been for warned...

Not that I'm an X supporter, but after watching Male play on Friday night, I think X will beat them in regular season. PRP should not even be ranked in the top 20 in 4A. X has the o-line and backs that can run with Male and Male's DB's can be beat with easy. Just because you might be a referee, don't let that yellow flag blind you....

^jimmyref...don't you have a kid at X? Do you not believe X can beat Male? I watched Male Friday night and X has just as good a chance to beat Male as other teams. Don't give up hope on your tigers yet.

I went to this game thinking Male would have a hard time beating PRP. Boy was I wrong. I left after the first series of the 3rd quarter. Male still plays that defense, whatever you call it, 10 men up front with Doug (safety) only 5 yards off the line of scrimmage. If PRP's young QB could have thrown it, it would have been a little more interesting, but outcome the same. I was able to see my ex-neighbor play, largest guy for Male and going both ways, good job Sam.

Just a heads up i dont think we will be seeing much of Tim Phillips on Saturday. Rumor has it, he has a swollen knee. No reason to risk playing this upcoming Saturday.

^I second you Rock Pride. How many fans would have really asked for a refund? I got my monies worth from the 10 minutes of play plus from the parking lot. Trying to re-schedule for either team doesn't make sense with their remaining district games. Here's a thought, if both teams meet back up in November, would they like to start off where they left off?

No one has responded to my question on other weapons Trinity has besides # 5. Trinity has several other weapons besides #5. Matter of fact, St. X JV had to be impressed with Trinitys other sophmore RB. There are a few other people on offense who are just as fast as #5. The entire defensive unit could be considered as a weapon, but we won't go there. As for the passes made by both QB's, Wade under threw his man and Petrino's pass was thrown very off balance, body going one way and the arm going the other. Petrino probably should of tucked it and ran it in for 6. Hope both teams meet again this year......

If the game does not resume, then I win a few dollars. Hate to win money that way, but if 3 more quarters were played, X might have been embarrassed. Good job Rocks for the few minutes you played tonight. I'm a little wet, need to dry off.......
