  1. Thank you GURU!!!!! :thumb: Great job by the Tigers-Redemption was achieved by the men in the trenches. Facing a team as physical as the Rams can be brutal and for the most part I think the Tigers came away from the game with just a couple of injuries-unfortunately they were to two key players and hopefully each will be good to go this Friday. Excellent job overall but special kudos have to go out to Chris Dornbrook, Michael Mattingly, Victor Anderson and the starting Tiger secondary on an outstanding game played. I had big fears about this Ram squad and this should be a great confidence boost for the X-men. Congrats to the very talented Senior Rams on a great 4 years of HS Football. :dancingpa
  2. Congratulations to Coach Sander and the DeSales Colts. Great road win. :thumb:
  3. GOOD LUCK COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Stay focused Tigers and take step 2 towards your ultimate goal. :flame: Prediction: Tigers 27 Rams 17
  5. When referring to the Rocks football success is Modest LSU an oxymoron?
  6. With a few DeSales players close to my heart, I'm going with the Colts giving Mark Sander this big playoff win on the road. :walk:
  7. If you will notice, it is not X posters that are being so boastful. The Crimsons bruised and battered the Tigers more than any other team has this season and their speed gave them fits as well so I doubt seriously if they take Manual lightly. Fortunately for the Tigers, Vic is healthy again and hopefully he will help spread out the Crimson defense allowing the power game of Michael Mattingly and crew to be more effective this time. GO TIGERS-teamwork, ball control and putting more points on the board against the tough M defense are the keys to victory. :fire:
  8. I have only seen Will Fidler in the State Semi-Final last year and he spent most of that night running for his life from Joe Tronzo and crew so it was tough to judge his abilities. I would have to think that he must be the real deal considering the schools that were aggressively recruiting him. Justin Burke, IMO, ranks up there with the best I have seen just a small step below Brian Brohm. Burke controls the game when he is under center. He is extremely intelligent, very accurate in his passing and very quick so there is not true way to defend him. He gets my vote after seeing him play 3 times against the Tigers. His Junior year he struggled against X, but he had a bad case of Tronzoitis that game as well.
  9. I think the Rock faithful will have more accurate info on this question. I personally have been impressed with how savvy Nick is in the pocket and he has very good arm strength for his size. That being said, Eric Senn is a super athlete who can do many things that keep a defense honest with his speed, passing ability and composure. Tough call for Coach Beatty, but also a luxury to have 2 qualified candidates and a 3rd option in Grant Conliffe!!!
