  1. Play stopped while WR Mathew Barger is being loaded into an ambulance. Not sure what had happened, it was far away from the play. KC coaches very upset with something. Barger is arguably KCs best player both football and basketball.
  2. Like defense? 0-0 halftime.
  3. HUGE crowd 30 minutes before game time. Parking at a premium.
  4. Using that same logic, Bell will be really tough to beat next week coming off two losses.
  5. Usually are. Mills knows what he's doing.
  6. Panthers are playing well and just may have their best defense ever. Still, Bell always seems to pull this one out somehow. Maybe this time will be different. Knox Central 20 Bell County 17
  7. Johnson Central will win but I don't think it will be a running clock. HC has played a much tougher schedule but the margin of their losses is not impressive. I saw them against Knox Central and they really struggled with the passing game both offensively and defensively. Still, they are a big, strong team which should match up well with JC. Johnson Central 28 Harlan County 13
  8. KC moves to 3-0, all against 5A competition. I continue to be impressed with the Panther defense and the offense is improving each game.
  9. 21-8. 3 td passes for Stewart.
  10. KC 14 HC 0. 5:35 remains in the 1st qtr.
  11. KC holds on. Takes a knee a couple times and the final is Knox Central 7 North Laurel 3.
  12. NL sacked somewhere. Its 4th and something with 1:11 to go. Sorry, lol.
  13. Absolutely cannot follow these radio guys. NL has the 1st down somewhere around midfield with 2:02 to go.
  14. Pass completed for enough for the first down but fumbles it backwards. Panthers recover but NL takes over on downs.
  15. Panthers keeping it on the ground and chewing up clock but now face a 4th and 11 on the NL 33 with just over 3 minutes to go.
  16. Wet field, lots of flags and two good defenses. NL finally threatens but a Panther interception in the endzone preserves the lead for now.
  17. Long punt return by Barger gives KC a 13-0 lead with 6:35 till the half.
  18. Thanks for the help but I'm not sure that's correct. I read something about a grandfather also named Jimmy who coached. James Voight III may prove to be more accurate.
  19. Per the Knox County Schools website, Voight will be introduced at a press conference Monday at 4pm. Voight led Dexter High School to the 2014 New Mexico class 2A state championship and is the son of Jimmy Voight who was hired as HC at Pulaski County High School in May.
