Johnson Central (3-0) wins over Fairland OH (46-0), Mastery Charter School PA (43-19) and Perry County Central (57-12). The Golden Eagles come in averaging 49 points per game while allowing 10 points per game.

 

Harlan County (1-3) with the lone win over Clay County (51-14). Losses coming to Bryan Station (56-22), Belfry (38-20) and Knox Central (35-8). The Black Bears come in averaging 25 points per game while allowing 36 points per game.

 

Johnson Central defeated Harlan County 36-14 last season.

 

Thoughts?

Johnson Central with a running clock.

Johnson Central will win but I don't think it will be a running clock. HC has played a much tougher schedule but the margin of their losses is not impressive. I saw them against Knox Central and they really struggled with the passing game both offensively and defensively. Still, they are a big, strong team which should match up well with JC.

Harlan County simply doesn't have the skill players to hang.

 

Will be similar to the Harlan County/Belfry game..but where Belfry geared down with a big lead I expect JC to leave no doubt until the 4th Quarter.
