  1. Cody Andrews is returning for his senior season, but his passing numbers could decrease if Haddix is not allowed to play. Cody is getting interest from Boston College, UK, UL, and EKU to name a few.
  2. You don't have to speak slowly for me. I know what your saying. Now in most instances I would say that it is done for athletic purposes like you are saying, but I don't beleive that was the case for Rodney. Yes he passed 8th grade at Scott Co. Middle, but not with flying colors to say the least. His parents took him to St. Johns to try and prepare him for high school academics and life after school. And on a side note he now has a 3.2 GPA. So I would say it helped him out a little bit.
  3. Well for one thing it wasn't for sports, because St. John's is a very small private school with 200 kids at the most. They don't have any major sports teams. I beleive they started to play in a basketball league with other small catholic schools around that same time, but there probally wasn't any major competition that would make the move for athletics purposes seem true.
  4. Cody has a very strong arm, but doesn't really get much of a chance to throw the ball out of the wing-t. He runs about a 5.1 second 40, but he is quicker than that in a game. Just ask some teams last year that he faked out of their boots on the option.
  5. Georgetown High School was in the building that is currently Garth Elementary school in Scott Co.
  6. If it will help the community and the little leagues and all that, I don't see the big deal about it. Besides, it is $300,000. That is chump change out of the state budget. I'm glad for Fairdale!
  7. If UK had turf I think it would be held at Commonwealth, because it is a central location for the whole state.
  8. This is off topic, but where did Joe Tronzo decide to go to college?
  9. I saw on WLEX that Hal Mumme got a commitment from the Lexington Catholic Wide Receiver. He should probally do well there since the type of plays that he was used to in high school are similar to the type of things that Mumme does.
  10. Scott Co. will have an improved defense from last season. I would look for them to make a run like they did two years ago.
  11. This game almost felt like it was the Region championship. I hope SC doesn't overlook Madison Central at all.
  12. A third one is being built now and will be ready to use next school year. Scott Co MS, Georgetown MS, and now the new Royal Springs MS.
  13. Of course Hoosiers was great, but I also love Blue Chip with Shaq and Penny Hardaway.
  14. This will be a great atmosphere at the Frankfort Civic Center. I can't wait!
  15. I'm really looking forward to Scott Co., Lexington Catholic round III.
  16. I haven't seen Madison Central play this year, but I have seen Bryan Station three times this year. They are a tough team, and can be dangerous when their shots fall for them. Should be the best first round game in the 11th.
  17. He won't be here next year. At times he most definately has not been consistent this year, although you are right he has been lately.
  18. I am so excited. It should be a pretty good week of basketball!
  19. I agree, except I would switch 3 and 4.
  20. It is a shame that one of these teams will not make it to compete in the 11th region tournament. Should be a very big crowd Wednesday night. Your thoughts?
  21. Well, I guess your right. They couldn't any closer after Henry Clay broke that tie. :thumb:
