After losing to Bracken last week in Paris, the Greyhounds bounce back with a big win at Bracken County in the All A 10th Region Tournament. The Hounds led 34-10 at the break. They were led in scoring by sophomore Cameron Downey (23 points) and senior forward Aaron Jacobs (14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocked shots).:banana:

I can remember back in 1999 when the tournament was played at Nicholas County and the weather came into play. After winning their semifibal game earlier that day, Paris went home but Brossart (if I can remember correctly)stayed at the gym. Might have went and got something toeat or whatever but for the most part they were at the gym. After a slow start by both teams, Brossart warmed up and beat Paris for the title. If Brossart beats Deming, maybe they should talk to some people that were part of the program back then and see what they did to stay focus and then go on to win the game!

Jacobs fouled out with 33 points, 10 rebounds 6 assists, 5 steals and 5 dunks. Had he not fouled out, I really believed that Paris would've won the game. Montgomery had no answer for him. And it also didn't help when Paris' point guard (Downey) picked up his fourth foul in the first quarter!

Beating a team three times in the same season is tough enough ... but four times? That's what Clark needs to do if they are to defend their title ... beat Montgomery County for a fourth time. I'm not going to pick a winner here because I think it will be too close to call. I just hope a good turnout of fans show up for both teams! Very dissapointed at the show of support for both schools in the opening round and semifinals. Maybe, I guess when you win as much as Montgomery and Clark does ... it doesn't mean as much! I'm just saying!!!!
