Congrats Jackets! And a special congrats to senior Caleb Pope for breaking Nicholas County's rushing record for a season!

15 carries for 219 4td's, 2 receiving td's and a kick return for a td.

Correction 3 rushing td's.

Congrats to Caleb Pope, I have heard all about him but haven't seen him but if that kid is better than McGuffy (played for Ben Pumphrey in the late 70's/early 80's) then he is something.

I do hope that in a blowout like that the kid wasn't left in just to get a record. Everyone has their opinion on that kind of thing, I just think that it shouldn't be done.....running it up just to get a record, especially with games left on the schedule.

That statement was not meant to put the kid down at all, if he is in the game then he should go all out.

Jv went in with around 2:30 to go in the 3rd.

Way to bounce back NCHS. Great job!
