Greyhounds take down their third straight giant at the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic. Will play tomorrow in the semifinal!

Greyhounds open play in the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic with a nice win over the bigger school from Georgia! Despite playing games a school with nearly 3000 students from grades 9-12, Paris with an enrollment of 200 or less, never trailed in the contest. Jekobi Wells led the Hounds with 17 points and 5 rebounds. The Hounds will play Henry Clay tomorrow night (12-27) at 8:00!

1. Mason County- a loaded senior class that should be hungry! 2. George Rogers Clark- a lot of talent to not have them here. 3. Scott High- have two of the best players in the region on this team. 4. Campbell County- they could beat any of the three teams above them! 5. Nicholas County- the sleeper of the region and played GRC decent. 6. Bishop Brossart- just needs to be in this spot and a nice win over Bourbon. 7. Bourbon County- Chariss Wilson is one of the top 3 post players in the region. 8. Bracken County- had some nice wins but some tough wide margin losses! 9. Paris- even though Harrison beat Paris, I still feel Paris is better. 10. Harrison County- young team with a very bright future.

When Jones gets back, they'll be a better team but still will be a beatable team by any of the top tier schools in the region!

Final from Paris! Ameryon Blackburn led Bourbon with 20, Cameron Wilson had 18 and Titus Ransom 17. Canada led Montgomery with a game-high 23. Norris had 15 and Chism 12.

What have I've been missing ... heck, the 40th District has been a battle the last four years ... and with Bourbon County knocking off Mason County tonight and Clark County beating Madison Central, this district once again, will be wide open. Hounds and the Colonels play Friday night! By far, the best district in the 10th region ... no weak links!

I know who he is and he can certainly play and by season end, he should be one of the best in the region ... but then again, he already is!

Excellent job as always! One thing to note, Eric Johnson of Paris is a junior and not a senior! The young man may be the best player on the team next to Wells!
