  1. I just read the article in the paper and it said a seating capacity of 2,000 to 2,500 available seats and nobody will stand on the track. From what I'm reading this looks like a one time event.
  2. Centre college charging Boyle Co. $4,000 to play the game there friday.:scared::scared::scared::eek: I would like to see the breakdown on that amount. I can understand the electric bill and clean up but not $4,000.
  3. I can't see limiting tickets, maybe just those sold at the school at a discount, but I have to beleive whoever wants to get in the game will be sold a ticket. This game may not be a problem with seating but the two after that, especially if the Bell County game becomes a reality could be a problem. We will just have to wait and see.
  4. I'm not sure Danville will try to run around Green County, they are probably expecting that, Danville has been making their hay from tackle to tackle lately. If I remember correctly last year Danville lost the game on some fumbles at crucial times. If Danville turns the ball over, I expect the same outcome, but if they protect every posession I think they will pull out a close one.
  5. I agree Jim Schue a lot of people don't realize the non district schedules these teams play.
  6. Danville has improved quite a bit since they suffered those earlier season losses. Green has to be favored but I'm not sure about a huge favorite. Mostly I think because the game is at GC. Danville have some players healthy now and their Quaterback is much improved. It looks like Danville's out of district competition was stronger. If Danville can hold down the turnovers I think it will be very competitive.:thumb:
  7. In my opinion it was Glasgows ability to throw against the Ads that made them so effective. It opened up the run for them a little. If Green doesn't have a good passing attack Danville will be tougher on the run. Also Danville didn't have to throw the ball much, they didn't have to, but they have the ability to burn Green County if they load up the box to stop the run. Danville's offense has become much more productive since Dunn and Brand are healthy and Danville's freshman QB has gained a lot of game experience.
  8. Green, may win next week, but the Ads won't play nice either. So we will see, Green should definately be favored they are higher seeded and playing at home. But Sam Harp has a lot of playoff coaching experience. Danville just needs to shore up the pass defense a little. We shall see come friday! Wouldn't it have been boring to beat up on poor old injury depleted Glasgow again?
  9. Glasgow's number 8 very spunky. Danville's secondary got burned on two big pass plays, but tightened up in the second half and made some big plays. Glasgow gambles on fourth down and trys a fake punt on about their own 35, the ads were alert and shut it down went on to score and control the rest of the game. Patrick Brand 318 yards rushing and Will Dunn had 153 yards rushing, Danvilles ground game is getting cranked up.:dancingpa
  10. Danville's defense finally tightens up in the second half.
  11. You need to look at the Competition Danville lost to. I'm guessing it is a lot stronger than Your districts competition has been.
  12. If Bourbon goes for a lot of fourth down conversions on their side of the field, Boyle County will have a lot of short fields to score.:walk:
  13. Well, I don't agree. If Danville continues to play better each game the way they have been, neither Monroe or Green are too good for Danville. Danville has played a much tougher non district schedule, I think they have finally matured, I know the quaterback has. If Danville plays up to their capability they can beat either team. But they have to beat Glasgow first and;and GC and MC have to win their games tonight. We will find out the next couple of weeks.:thumb:
  14. I bet CC wished they had the 1998 players for this game, that would be a good match up.
  15. I feel Danville will take it to Glasgow and also the next team they play who ever that will be, then we will see after that. Danville 28 Glassgow 7.:dancingpa
  16. I was just thinking, What if a school has to shut down for the flu now? I guess that team would have to forfit? If that were so, could knock out some good teams. That would be a hard decision for that schools administration to make.:scared:
  17. Sorry, Bourbon county, Boyle county looks like it will have a dry field this week. You guys are going to get blown out. Unless you can throw the ball consistantly. Otherwise, the rebels will shut your running game down, and McShara will run wild. Boyle 63 Bourbon 0.:dancingpa
  18. Thanks VOR, Danville seems to have it going in the right direction, if they continue on this path I think they have a good chance to go deep into the playoffs. Of course Fort Campbell woul be the MAJOR road block for the Ads, but strange things happen from time to time. I think a deep playoff run would do wonders for next years team, the Ads don't have many seniors.
  19. Great job Admirals, This game your defense played great. The offense tried to give Frankfort some gifts with turnovers, the defense hung tough and only allowed 3 points, earlier in the year those would have all been touchdowns, Special teams gave up the other Frankfort score so good job again to the Ads defense. The Offense also Played well, as I said in my post on the game prediction thread if you load up on the run, Danville has the ability to burn you now. HEY "VOICE OF REASON" does this count as a quality win?:walk:
  20. I hope the flu doesn't hamper the Ads, according to coach Harp they had 14 kids miss practice Monday due to illness.:scared:
  21. I'm sure Franfort has a better team on both sides of the ball than WC, but Danville's offense is executing much better and the quaterback and receivers are hooking up much better now. If you load up on the run they have the ability to burn you with the pass, that is something that was lacking earlier in the season.
  22. Sorry the loss number for Franforts opponents was not intentionaly inflated, just a mistake on my part.:notworthy:
  23. I'm not making the numbers say anything, they speak for their self. Anybody can look at the two different schedules and see that Frankforts competition has been much weaker. I'm not saying Frankfort is not a good team, beacause they are. But their schedule is weaker. Like Adopted Admiral said if Danville plays like they did against Washington County they will have a good chance to win. If they revert back to turnovers and poor decision making they will lose. By the way, why does Danville have to play at Frankfort 2 years in a row? This should have been a home game for the Admirals!::idunno:
  24. Here are also some interesing stats the win loss records of each teams opponents, Frankforts opponents W/L records W-25 L-80. Danville's opponents 51-32. Danville has played 3 undefeated teams with top rankings in their class plus Corbin with one loss at or near the top of 2A. Danville has seen very stiff competion, the injuries are getting better, their freshman quater back better every game. The last two wins have been to weaker teams, but they were dominating wins.
