There is a huge difference between high school and middle school wrestling, but I wish the kid luck in the future. What weight would he have been in this year?

I agree that he had his opportunity taken away from him, but to say a kid who did not even make the state tournament the year before would have been in the state finals the next year is a pretty big stretch. Anyone who follows Kentucky wrestling would agree.

No disrespect toward the kid, but I think that is an exaggeration! Maybe a qualifier, but not a finalist...

The same can be said for Bourbon county and not just for football.

I work in Fayette county and had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Atkins several times, he always was positive with a kid first attitude. He is a real class act! I just wish the AD that I worked for was half the man he was... :thumb:

Bourbon should have treated Salsman better, because they have been down since he left.

Scott had a small run to end the half and then BS started the second half with a few unforced errors, which scott capitalized on. I think Scott wanted this game more. I predict they will meet again and it will be a close game.

I picked LC, but I will be pulling for Bell. Something I am not sure that has been mention on here yet, but Dudley has beat LC in the playoffs before. He did it at Bourbon, on his way to winning the State Championship... :sssh:

I might make the trip for this one. If JC would have beat Woodford earlier this year, would this game still be in Lincoln or in the nest?

All Lexington teams, not sure if any Henry Clay. Wayne county was there also.
