Clark Co 59 Bourbon Co 47

Good win for GRC, but I thought it would be worse.

Bad shooting night and alot of subs played.

Bourbon should have treated Salsman better, because they have been down since he left.

Clark Co Scoring--Hatton 12, Daniel 2, Miller 2, Stenzel 17, Williams 2, Bennett 3, Purvis 2, Rogers 12, Dini 2---Total 59

Bourbon Co Scoring--Wiggleworth 9, Franklin 2, Graham 4, Sallee 8, Hogue 5, Lynch 16, McFarland 3 -- Total 47

Quarter scores GRC--13--37--48--59

B.C.--8--20--29-- 47

 About went there watching this game- Most of Clark's boys played about a half.

Good for Coach Humphrey. He's been blowing people out all year. Cantrell won't like this score, but hopefully some of the bench got good minutes.

 So true.

Alot of subs played was not even close..Of course there was a little foul trouble for both teams, but Clark County's major contributors played the entire game..When the horn sounded there were 3 starters in for GRC. Game was very sloppily played, but Bourbon County had a great game plan just didn't have enough offensive weapons to win the game. Congrats to GRC on a tough district win. These two will meet again in the first round of the district at Montgomery County. Good luck to both teams.

GRC went 10 or so deep and the latter end players played significant minutes.. I would say that would be alot of subs playing. Not taking anything away from Bourbon, they played a much better game than the first meeting. But to say GRC had even a decent game and played their best players the whole time is stretching it a bit.

Better check your minutes a little closer. I don't know who you consider the major contributors for Clark are.

GRC played the same 9 or 10 players that play each and every game. So I don't want to hear people saying that they played their BENCH players most of the minutes and that is why the game was closer than the final score. The players that came off the bench were Bennett, Dini, Purvis, and the Jaylen kid. These are the same players that get good minutes every game. So i'm sorry that I am calling it like I see it, but for some of you to say they played their bench the majority of the game is not true what-so-ever.

Kindred played about a quarter or more and thats makes 10 that played. They only have 5 starters in basketball and others are called subs. How many do you have to play to play your bench. I know for sure that Hatton and Stenzel only played 3 quarters and maybe a few minutes less than that.

Sorry Miller had 7 for Clark instead of 2 as I had listed.

I'm not a fan of Bourbon County, but I am just tired of reading everywhere on BlueGrassPreps where people make excuses for the scores of games. To be honest it gets real pathetic, I'm not saying you are being like that. Teams play bad and other teams play good. Ive just heard too many excuses on every discussion and I am tired of it. Sorry if i came off rude

Congrats Coach Humphrey and good luck the rest of the way.
