Look I am just repeating what I was told. I really could care less one way or the other or what anyone believes. :popcorn:

From what I have been told by very reliable sources, advance ticket sales were offered to GRC and the powers to be at Clark County refused to take the opportunity to sale advance tickets at their school. To everyone else, 11am-1pm today advance tickets will be on sale at the ticket booth at the fieldhouse. Let turn out big time RoyalNation!!!

This is just my guess, but I am going to say that the 3 officials are going to be Bart Lennox, Bo Queen, and Kirk Hudson. Lennox is pretty good and that is about all I can say. Again I don't know who its going to be, just a guess.

I agree, that one in the Bracken game was too quick.

The technical was legit, OConnors emotions got the best of him but the trailing official called it where it was Branscum in which OConnor was sceaming at . Doesn't make a difference who calls it, definitely was a game changer. Another game changer was Daniels three when trailing by 1.

The technical was a weak call from the official. Persinger is not a loud person to begin with. This was his first regional tournament as a head coach and he wasn't excited or anything, just wondering what was called. A technical in the first 3 minutes of the game and normally a official will go to a coach and tell him that he is not going to listen to him if the official feels like there is too much complaining but this guy didn't even do that. I was shocked at the whistle.

Congrats to Coach Kelsch and staff and to all players on a great season. Especially to the seniors, what a way to finish your basketball careers. Even though it was in the semifinals and every kid that plays has the dream of going to Bowling Green, you were still able to finish in postseason play. I echo what Randy Parker says, it has been quite a ride for these girls and something they can always look back on the accomplishments along the way starting back in the seniors freshmen year where they were regional champs, and then this season when they claimed the All A regional title and represented their families, school, and the community of Brooksville at the All A state tournament. I had the chance to talk with Coach Kelsch last night following the game and I can tell you that Bracken County is blessed to have PK as their coach. You will not find a better person to lead your young kids and mode them into young adults and not only guide them in basketball but also guide them in the right way on and off the court. PK took that loss hard last night and anytime you lose seniors its difficult to address the kids in the locker room when you know they have played their last game. He runs a first class program and he was already talking about getting back to work for next year. Congrats again BC:thumb:

Huckleberry Inn is another nice selection. Belly up and join the boys for a nice fellowship time.

From a fans perspective it sounds like it wasn't what you paid to see, but how a coach operates a team is up to that coach. Some of these scores that I have seen posted across the state that were so lopsided, I believe I would have done the same thing as what Coach Greissers game plan was in this one. Whatever the score at the half was in the previous game was between Montgomery/Clark I can't remember but what I believe was a pretty lopsided affair, this is no fun for the kids on the receiving end of this so I am sure Montgomery County took into account this and gave their kids the best shot of keeping it respectable and as close as they could.

When you touch the ball in the interior as much as Keller does, then you have a pretty good chance to go to the line. She knocked them down, end of discussion. Pretty good player, PMP is what its referred to, Players Make Plays!

I believe the stat was 15-32 and Mason County was 19-25.

Congrats to the Mason County Lady Royals, there were many that didn't give you a chance to advance past the first round and you stuck together and held your composure in the tight moments of the last two games. Two straight games you came back after trailing and could have called it a night but you never quit. To Bracken County, your kids played hard and had a great game plan and were prepared like they always are. You have an outstanding coach in PK and his staff and you should be proud of their effort and best of luck to both teams in next weeks regional tournament.

Congrats to Coach Conley and Coach Kelsch on the championship. A little birdie told me that coach Conley has been getting an ear full of tips from a coach at his place of employment:ylsuper: Just kidding, outstanding job and congrats to the Lady Bears and staff!

Both games on the 22nd and 23rd will begin at 6:30pm

February 22nd Bracken County vs Augusta 8pm February 23rd Mason County vs St. Patrick 8pm Boys and Girls 3-1 voted to have one draw for boys and girls. Bracken voted no.

That meltdown had everything to do with Masons pressure full court that was in your face. Without a point guard to control the ball and pressure, this year might not be any different. GRC would be just about unbeatable if they had that cool, calm point guard that could handle top pressure. I am not saying anything negative about anyone trying to handle that spot currently, but the PG is the key to the ignition on the floor.

I certainly hope so because this time of the year you don't need injuries to your team than you already have or else you become a average team. Best of luck to the two players that are treating their injuries. Hate to see any player injured, especially in the 10th region.
