  1. That's nowhere near what I meant... But like it our not, some peoples complaints are based off envy.
  2. No doubt I'm a fan of KSR, not always a fan of Jones but I do enjoy KSR... Not sure if being a fan of KSR has skewed my opinion on this matter but this all seems simple to me. 1). When you put your pictures on a public website, expect them to go public. 2). If you want credit for your pics, watermark them or imbed your info. If someone removes that, their breaking a clearly defined law. 3). If you don't want your pics public post them on a members only website. Taking them from there could be a violation of the membership or usage terms. 4). Don't wine just because someone or something is widely more popular than any work you've ever done. That makes people seem small.
  3. I like Jones and couldn't care less about a photo on his site or who took it. If the photographer cared so much, he should imbed his images with his name and copyright info... This is just another reason I don't care for newspapers, especially their silly policies and expectations of courtesy from others, but rarely give it to anyone else like bloggers...
  4. A great actor... I feel for his family and those that loved him. I'm sure his life was so bad he had no choice but to dope up to escape his reality...
  5. Can't live without it. Been taking it for a little over a year, lost about 30 lbs and have much more energy and sharper thinking... Let her take it for a month or so and you'll see what I'm talking about.
  6. I have no idea who the next coach will be but like I said in another thread, as a UK fan I would just had soon kept the enemy we know in Strong as have Jurich on the prowl for a new coach. The last thing UK needs is a shot of energy in the UL program. It seemed Charlie brought the recruits and wins but never seemed to bring the energy at the level he could have. The scary thing is the recruits are still there, the potential for many wins is still there and with the right coach they may pull an Auburn... If you ask me, UL is in a better spot than many of their fans realize.
  7. Here's another pic of "Gunner"... I've had several dogs in my life but this is by far the smartest, best tempered one I've ever had. The lab breed is second-to-none in my book... I've never seen a Fox Red Lab in person, but they are a beautiful dog as well...
  8. Decided to delete... Done with the conversation...
  9. Decided to delete... I've said all I want to say...
  10. I know I'm not worthy of debate with you Captain, and I'm sure you've already done your due diligence in the area of research, but consider the following articles and editorials as reading material. If you deem them worthy and on par with your intellect of course... http://www.hutchnews.com/Westernfront/wfrogers http://www.newscientist.com/blog/shortsharpscience/2008/03/realty-check-for-post-traumatic-stress.html
  11. And just so you get it straight. Make no mistake about it I've experienced war and was part of the Marine units that made the initial push through Iraq to Baghdad international airport. We went weeks without showers and slept when we could, in shifts of course. Things like good sleep, hot meals, phone calls home, showers or down time wasn't an option, but we knew what we were their to do and we all bought in and did it. I never knew or heard of PTSD till some navy doc started screening us as we came out, it was a laughable process that most considered to be a handout. I knew no Marines that ever had or claimed to have PTSD... What's your experience???
  12. What makes you so sure you're right? I think ignorance is how people always blame someone/something other than the person solely responsible. First off don't blame it on PTSD when you have know idea what this guys history is. Second, don't blame the government for stopping his meds... How about blaming the fool that let's his entire existence hinge on the acts of his girlfriend... That's ignorance... Putting your children in danger is ignorance... But justifying or sympathizing will him is worse.
  13. Feel free to roll your eye... It's people like you that IMO drum up and validate something I hardly consider legit like PTSD... You want to roll your eyes consider this, then you'll see where I place you as a sympathizer and thus enabler... PTSD, IMO has more to due with our weak society and our inability to compartmentalize the things experienced in war... A couple things to consider when talking up PTSD; 1) Our mommy society has softened up the training methods used by the military to the point it's very hard to weed out the physically and mentally weak. 2) The lack of good jobs has pushed a lot of normally unwilling people into the ranks of the military, those people will be hard to get to buy in to our purpose overseas. That lack of belief, that we are doing what is necessary is what further screws with their mind. 3) I have and will always be against deploying the national guard (any reserve unit for that matter) overseas. I don't think you can expect someone who plays soldier one weekend a month and two weeks a year to preform well. I have seen it first hand, they are not up to par mentally or militarily. It was a common belief and practice of my unit to avoid guard units when possible. It's not their fault at all and I don't intend to devalue their service, but, to think you can pull a man out of "normal" society one week and have home overseas the next is foolish.
  14. This guys most likely just a nut and was born a nut....
