Score is about what I expected.... Glad SW was able to keep it classy with the personal fouls, onside kick and fake punt....

Defense has been exceptional IMO. They bend but rarely break and play a strong "layer" defense lead by the big guys upfront. With Stoops defense this team can compete in years to come.

Adair was really impressive. I admire the speed and intensity they play with, reminds me of what Monroe used to look like... As for the Falcons, I'm at a loss of words for their play but more importantly their effort, they don't have the aggression, grit, urgency or leadership found on the successful Falcon teams of years past. And for those that look to the HC for motivation I say bull... Motivation is a an emotion and emotions are short lived, desire is a trait that last a lifetime and goes with you long after the years of wearing a helmet, and desire is something you can't fake and it can't be pumped in from outside, it's either in you or it isn't, I question this teams desire... Long story short, I'm at the point now that I have nothing good to say, so I'll say nothing.

Monroe still has a lot to prove at this point... It's going to be a fun journey watching them get there but their starting a little further back than many expected.

It's obvious to tell the majority of these kids came from Greenwood. Greenwood always had a distinct arrogance but never could back it up, same will be true for SW when they get put in the class they belong in... Arrogance but nothing to back it up...

I believe this will be a close one... Wayne will still be riding the high from last season and will probably play above themselves, that will probably win them the first half of play. Monroe still has a lot to prove, sure they look like Tarzan but do they play that way? If they do and they play physical high energy football then Monroe will pull away late. A good lawyer will have a field day with this case. The officer didn't attempt to stop her till she was already entering the roadway, it would be reasonable to claim that she was just attempting to get in a safer spot before stopping. Also the officer had no reason to place himself in harms way, no one appeared to be danger and no known crime had been committed. Quite simply the cop should have stepped back took the plate number and called it in... All people live, and and the teens learn a valuable lesson.

If I'm right, tomorrow a lot more will probably come out on Smart, Orr and some facts. News cycles will begin and it's the best time to get hits...

Of course there inappropriate in all aspects of life including sports, I have never and will not condone the use of racial comments, however, I felt from jump street that this was not a case of that and felt Jeff Orr would have not made it this long with that skeleton in his closet.
