So with 2 levels of qualifying statements we basically have no definitive evidence. X only has losses to T, BG and Cincy X. While SK has lost to Ryle, so unless you are saying that Ryle is better than those 3 you don't have any solid evidence other than 1 practice that as we have already established as having multiple qualifiers thereby rendering it irrelevant. So as we stand NKY teams have still beaten no one and X has a win over Male. If we are looking at quality of wins then X has the lead there. Until you prove yourselves against real competition we will look at you this way.

He played in the 3rd quarter with the backup WRs, hardly a legitimate sample and you know it.

See Dixie 2014, Ryle 2010 and SK 2008. Similar things said in all 3 scenarios. Until proven, there will be considerable doubt. Nothing more, nothing less.

Well I know H took T down to the wire and X is a different team than NKY saw earlier in a practice against SK since their QB is back. Either way the results will speak for themselves in a few weeks either for or against either of our positions.

That's some wishful thinking with all those NKY schools and Scott County above Male and X.

I have yet to see a team out in the state with a legitimate argument to be ahead of T, H, and X if we seeded it.

Of the district wins the only one that was really impressive was the Ballard one, I agree with that. Ballard is a decent team. The other ones though aren't even worth mentioning considering we played shortened quarters with a running clock in at least one of those.

Point of comparison nothing more. Bragging about records when blowing out irrelevant teams is unbecoming of a title contender. I took SK fans to task for it in 08, Dixie in 14, and I will do the same for our boys when they do the same. I have consistently done this for years. I am not berating the NKY squads as they stand now because I haven't heard the hollow boasts this season.

When you are as good as Trinity you should only brag when you beat worthy foes. Our district doesn't really fit that bill.
