  1. Thanks, I was just reading the passage included in the article.
  2. Bad wording certainly but it does start out by saying the slave trade brought them here. Probably should have said brought them here against their will to work instead of brought workers here. I think they assumed way too much.
  3. Nice, have always heard long snapping was a great path to playing at the next level. Good luck to him!
  4. That's a good question. Everyone plays one, half the teams play two and a quarter of the teams play three. My thinking is a team needs to win 3 and get to the semis to be deep in the playoffs.
  5. Good D by Seattle to punch the ball out but doggone it Calvin, hold onto the darn ball!
  6. I think Drew will appreciate the approach when he is the starter. He gets to sit back and learn both on the field and by observing what PT has to deal with. No doubt in my mind that he will be ready and successful when his time comes.
  7. I think people often get confused when we talk about being able to fire someone. In most cases, non protected classes can be fired without reason. That means the company would win a lawsuit brought against it for unlawful termination, it doesn't mean they would win an unemployment hearing.
  8. The HHS O-line is a unit that historically makes great strides throughout the season. I have to admit I did not think it would be the case this year with the three returning starters.
  9. Looks like some people just don't get it with social media and have to learn a hard lesson. Employers as a rule have a lot of leeway in who they choose to associate with and if you want to be a moron, be prepared to go your own way.
  10. As a WKU grad I hate all things EKU. However, I loved the passion they played with and hope they carry that through the season and make some noise in the playoffs. It will give me a reason to follow them on TV.
  11. Congratulations to Coach Rash. I assume that he's third in wins behind Yeagle and Barre? Unless Edgar McNabb managed to win 100 in the 150 years he was at Beechwood
  12. Agreed. Hate that the loser will drop out. Maybe we can get a tie and they both stay top ten.
  13. A very very nice game in total. The frustration is in the inconsistency between the two halves.
  14. The also liked Chelsea Clinton a lot. The impression they got was she really favored her dad and it appeared she loved her mom but often didn't like her. Sounds like my kids with me.
  15. So the guy was a bi-racial, pro IRA, conservative republican Muslim who hated organized religion, particularly Christians, and blacks. Anything else?
  16. Surprisingly they do not sign a confidentiality oath, it's more of an unwritten rule that you don't talk about what you see. I remember back in the 90's when there was a book about Kennedy's affairs and some of the agents were quite upset that others had talked.
  17. 'Ol Joe might be the one candidate from the big two parties who would make me think about not voting independent next year.
  18. Responding like she did to the secret service man who said good morning to her tells me she's more than a pain in the behind, I think that's a real mental issue.
  19. I'm interested to see how the Birds used their bye week. Given the season, I believe this is the most critical game of the year.
  20. Of course there isn't and yet it happens weekly at every level.
  21. Stories on her have been around since Bill Clinton's first campaign.
