Josey: "When I get to liking someone they're not around long".
Chief Dan George (forget his character's name) "I noticed when you get to disliking someone they're not around long either".
My first thought is how did the player even know about the tweet during the game in order to get upset? Second thought is the assistant coach needs to be gone.
Must have forgot:
Ronald Reagan
Bill Clinton
Gerald Ford
Jimmy Carter
Candidates
Jeb Bush
Donald Trump
Ben Carson
Ted Cruz
Carly Fiorina
John Kasich
Rand Paul
Joe Biden
Bernie Sanders
Hillary's middle name is not Rodham
Marco Rubio
Chris Christie
etc, etc, etc,
I don't use mine either and I'm an Irish/Italian Catholic. Only people who used my full name including middle name were my parents when I was in big trouble.
I think the hatred seems worse with each administration because of the increasing access to the comments. Thirty years ago you had networks and newspapers which were still highly regulated. Twenty years ago you had a few cable and radio shows spewing hatred during prime hours. Ten years ago cable was in full force and the internet was in play. Now you have cable, radio, internet and social media all in play 24/7 giving access to anyone who wants to vent.
I dread to think about what's coming down the lane.
People attack with what they believe is the biggest insult. Bush obviously was not attacked with racial insults but the level of hate and anger was every bit as bad as what Obama gets.
And the issue we have on the left is they are drifting too far to the left and getting rid of the moderate democrats. Both sides are at fault but neither side sees it.
I don't think he said that, only questioned the blind support given the circumstances. Presidents take the heat and the glory, just like quarterbacks, regardless of their role.
Obviously that plays a large role, as does the propaganda put out about them. Last studies I saw Hispanics were more conservative than blacks and a large percentage of democrats.
