LC is not the same team they've been for the past 4 years. They are still dangerous, but dangerous in a good and bad way. They can beat or lose to anyone in the 12th region this year. They are very inexperienced. East has some nice players, them beating LC on their home court was not a big surprise to me.

I wouldn't say Russell Co. beat LC bad, it was a 4 point game with around a minute to play (RC went on to win by 12). LC actually had a double digit lead in the second quarter. That being said, Russell Co. is 4-0 and they returned 4 starters off a very good team that went 23-7 the previous season.

LC was the two time defending champ last year. They were beat by the better team that night in the regional semi's. As for this year, I think West and McCreary will be there in the end. However, I haven't got to see a lot of teams yet... it appears to be wide open.

Hard to say, they have a lot of young kids that need experience. I'd say at this point maybe not as good, but they have more potential. If not this year, it will pay off in the years to come. They have a lot of talented young kids. I'd say making the regional tourney would be a good season this year.

Yeah, Russell County had a solid club though. They returned 4 starters (I think). 4 of LC's starters got in foul trouble in the 1st half, all 4 sit a lot. That really hurt.

:laugh: LC averaged all they want on the ground. GC came no where near a shutout. LC, on the other hand, nearly had the shutout. One blown play. How did a dropped pass effect them shutting LC out? And speaking of Ray, did the GC staff even know he was on the team. I couldn't believe they used him as decoy all night. That kid needs 20 touches a game. He is a talent. However, he isn't as fast as I thought. Calhoun easily ran him down on the screen, too bad he didn't tackle him and keep the shutout alive.
