  1. Any thoughts? Tough for the kids. 4th HC in 4 years. Heading they brought in a mostly local staff. Good Senior and Junior class. Hearing close to 40 players early on.
  2. To me, it appears that it's a stepping stone type of job unless it's someone that has ties to the community. Cantwell was there for 2 years before he accepted the CAL position, had a great program in place. Franklin, alum, local guy follows Cantwell, has decent success for 3 to 4 years. Let go by a principal that was only there 1 year herself. Since then it's been a carousel of people that drive 40 plus minutes each way. They seem to want people with zero ties to the area, which has resulted in kids having to learn new systems every year.
  3. Actually it's not good for the program that he just coached if he leaves after 1 season. This would be the 4th coach that the upcoming seniors have had in 4 years if he leaves.
  4. Hearing rumors that 1st year Carroll Head Coach applied for Western Hills. Anyone confirm this?
  5. If Wofo decides early that they want to open it up, they win. If they play conservative, it'll be 50/50. Wofo is very talented, as is Owens, just think Wofo has more. If their coaches don't get out coached.
  6. Anyone have a link to this game?
  7. Logically choice for this job is a local guy, currently at Sayre. Josh Smith had coached there before, alum and has a lot of quality ties to that area.
  8. Scott will dominate the box. Cooper will start cutting their interior line with their D Tackles. Scott Co by 14 plus, unless they play like they did vs Mad Central.
  9. Russell looks like the beneficiary of a weak schedule. Bourbon should roll.
  10. Watch the film. That was a hell of a 1 handed catch.
  11. Not even close to an Int
  12. Open enrollment is a joke. Kids bounce around to 3 high schools in 4 years looking for a better chance to win. If it was truly to escape a bad situation, understandable, but just to be on a better team is crap.
  13. Anderson is getting much better under Buchanan. They have some size but are limited to what #12 can do. South left some points on the field last night and their all new line had some mistakes. Scott's speed and talent will show out early and often.
  14. South 42-28. South has some athletes.
  15. South gave Fredrick Douglas all they wanted. Scrimmage was basically a push. Both teams had their moments. Both should be good. FD's nose is a monster and South's UofL commit Sam Dawson is a beast on D.
