CCH will be just fine come February, have a lot of reinforcements coming from football in the next couple of weeks. This team will be very deep and if someone is not playing D, they'll be someone ready to take their spot.

Johnson Central did not have an answer for the CCH passing game. Braylon Miller was HUGE tonight. Pitzer is smooth back there. He got jacked at least three times on the option plays and bounced right back up.

Props to Harney for chasing down the Ashland runner in the 4th quarter. Although Ashland ended up scoring, it allowed more time to run off the clock after that play and allowed the Colonels to run the clock out. Sometimes it is big hustle plays like that which go forgotten, which can save a game.

Very impressed by Ashland. They had some big boys! Hopefully Pitzer injury is nothing to worry about. I just cringe when our QB runs so much, especially when he is such a good thrower of the ball. Not complaining of the play he ran on, just in general.

It is not the targets, the guy is a great blocker and that is much needed with this offensive line. Don't get me wrong, if they were to get a good one, he will get plenty of targets, especially this year, all the Bengals have done is throw 10 yard or less passes all year.

Do you watch the Bengals? He would by far be the best tight end on their team. I have been most impressed by his blocking, which we all know they could use to help the offensive line. The Bengals have gotten little to nothing from the position. About as much as they have gotten from Murphy.

Bengals really could have used him this year. He would have gotten a lot more playing time than Miles Murphy is getting.

UK only has 7 players, he is getting all the rest he can now, guy will be playing 36 minutes a game during the summer trip and during the season. We can't afford any injuries, safety first. ?

I just do not have a very good feeling about this season. Feel like we are going to hear a lot of the same excuses from Cal. It is just so hard for freshman to win games against the older, more experienced players. The talent is there, but the inexperience will show up, especially when they are on the road.

I hope they do, but that is not the Bengals way of doing things. If the Bengals don't draft him, I hope someone in the AFC North does and he sticks it to them twice a year. The Bengals had the chance to bring the hometown kid home and they chose not to. Knowing Mike, I am sure he is hoping the same thing. The kid is a winner, would have loved to see him catching passes from and blocking for Joe Burrow.

I hope we don't have to watch Benson and his strikeouts all year. Find someone that can put the ball in play. We already have Barrero who is going to have his fair share of strikeouts in the lineup.

Lacked a big man last year, hopefully they can address that issue this year. Their guard play should be really, really good.

About what I figured. While Mixon is around, the Bengals will most likely have to go the draft route for a backup. I just don't see a high quality back willing to come and watch behind Mixon.

I honestly think he can bring a lot to next years. First of all, he was the only player for UK that could throw an entry pass in to the post. If you watched him, he did a lot of coaching on the floor and from the bench, and was talking with the coachers a lot. With UK being so young next year, I believe he would be that senior leader that any good team needs. He is very basketball smart and if he can come in and give them 10 minutes a game, sign me up. I have no insight if that would be ok with him though.

They are saying Williams will most likely miss several games to start the season. Makes sense for Perine, he gets a chance to start the season as the starter if that is the case. Perine does not have much competition wise, other than Williams at this moment. He most likely feels like the chances of playing time are better there in Denver. If I am him, I most likely make the same move. He was underutilized in Cincinnati, what would make you think that is going to change.

If Javonte Williams is healthy, Perine isn't going to be the starter in Denver either.

Agreed. The whole season there is not one team that is asked to play two games in one day, then for the biggest game of the year, they are required to win two games on the same day to win it all. I know people will say they are teenagers and they play five games a day in AAU ball. I get it, but during the whole season they are not asked to play two games in one day, except for the biggest game of the year.
