Based on geography, FD should affect, Henry Clay and Bryan Station. Demographically I wonder how many of the kids come to Douglas Via their academy? The 2 other schools that border Lafayette are Tates Creek and Dunbar. But they are mediocre at best.

Newport has some nice underclassmen. Lots of dunks…just way more athletic than Harlan.

Has not played one Second this season. They are what they are. One thing that did hurt them this season was Doyle Transferring to Lex Cath at the end of last season. He was a solid 6th man.

This is a spin off topic. It’s this just a NKY thing. I went to the a game at Cooper and Campbell. I found it odd both didn’t have a “Visitor” side. That’s cool, I get it. Don’t have enough money, poor planning whatever else. But this was the thing that struck me as odd. The home teams side line was on the far side away from the stands. Is this to prevent daddy ball? Keep fans away? I’ve been to a fair amount of places never ran across this. I’ll hang up and listen!

Fredrick Douglas Stadium is nice, but very generic modern stadium. I’ve never been to a stadium with the security/FCPS being so overbearing. Let’s frisk the visiting teams grandma, those are the ones causing the problems. Nope it’s your students. Get a grip.

I’m old and moved away from EKC country many moons ago. But didn’t they use to do this at MSU? Did the EKC end that? Or did MSU break it off? You would think you would want to sell your campus for a few hours in the late summer.

I wonder how the building of the new Scott Co Hs will affect them. From what I heard the middle schools feed like this. Scott Co Middle to Great Crossing Royal Springs to Scott Co Hs Georgetown Middle is decided by location that you live.

Can anyone help me? What has happened at Scott Co. I know after Coach Hicks retired, they named Coach Glenn. He did have a winning season his 1st season (covid season, they did win the region, but didn’t compete we all know why) After that he has has records 2021 8-11 2022 10-18 2023 8-15 My question is? Is this program just really Billy Hicks? And the further away you get away the less his fingerprints are on this. I know the next argument is the Great Crossing argument. But if you look at your roster they have Zero Seniors. One junior, and 10 sophomores. I am not advocating for a mans job. But I do think folks need to look at the facts. I am a outside observer. Just a fan of great basketball. But it’s not at Scott County.
