I was hoping the scrimmage at Mayfield was going to be in Owensboro so I could watch that one and the Tilghman vs Owensboro Catholic scrimmage.

I completely agree, from my understanding they tried to make it happen with BG and Owensboro to replace the south Warren game.

I think CAL will have more challenges this year but will be state champs again!

Please tell me geographically who else they could schedule. South Warren didn’t renew the contract and that game was attempted to be replaced with BG or Owensboro! The rest of a week schedule comes from district play and the Russellville game was definitely not a first choice!

Is there a punishment for dropping a team that you have a two year agreement with?

Should be another great season. I believe this team will be even better then last years team!

From the beginning of this season I’ve felt the top 4 teams in Class 4A could all compete with each other. I could be wrong and well find out on Friday but I still believe if any of these teams played each other twice you’d probably have a different result each game! With that being said my pick is Covington Catholic.

All due respect to Covington I would completely disagree with that,Tilghman was having their way moving the ball down the field! Turnover stopped their drive every time, and PT stopped Covington 3 times in the red zone in the first half! The momentum shift came from yet another PT mistake with a high snap on punt!

It was honestly I wasn’t happy with all the extra stuff we was doing the game was tied,just pint the ball!

Congratulations to Covington! What a great game. We can’t make mistakes and drop balls like we did tonight and except to come out with a win against a opponent like Covington!

I don’t think it was poorly thrown I think the receiver ran the wrong route!

I know it’s cold but they gotta catch these balls,way to many that have hit the hands and dropped. Two of those turned into a interception.

I couldn’t help but laugh at a sarcastic post I saw earlier saying PT would be traveling to Covington by boat.

I’m not a 100% sure but I don’t see any reason they wouldn’t be on a charter bus.
