5A Southwestern (1-5) at 5A #9 North Laurel (5-1) Radio: Lake Cumberland Sports Stream: North Laurel Nation (Facebook) Tale of the Tape: The Jags have been no stranger to quality early season wins in the past few years, however everything seems to fall apart when district play comes around. However, this season looks to be different. NL sits at #2 in the 5A RPI standings, giving themselves a fantastic shot to make a run in the playoffs. On the other hand, the Warriors are reeling. This is not the Southwestern team many people have grown accustomed to. With that being said, Southwestern has won 7-straight against NL so perhaps there is some football form of homeostasis is on their side.

A massive reason that Oldham is ahead of St. X is because they have played an extra game. I agree that the system is flawed, however this week Oldham has a bye and X plays. Thus, I would imagine X will jump Oldham with plenty of breathing room.
