Scott County had their worst outing of the season, as did Pulaski.

I don't disagree; it was more talking about the Purples than it was the others. To be clear, I'm not upset with it by any means. Just makes me wonder what the rest think.

I know on all counts there and this year/class more than any, 5A is wild and wide open.  Love it!

I agree, at least with the top 7 in this poll.  Any matchup at any location should be competitive or at least interesting.

They were runner up in 1970 & 71.

Lost in the Class AA finals in 1970 to Highlands and 1971 to Bryan Station. Those were the Sonny Collins years.

Thanks guys, I was thinking maybe so but instead of searching I knew some of you would know it off the top of your head. 

Come the playoffs, I'm taking BG until I see them lose.

South Warren, Cov Cath, and FD aren't around anymore, and they were the only teams they lost to in the playoffs for the past half-decade.

The teams ranked above them right now are still firmly on a prove-it basis to me until they actually do it.
