I'd say 95% if not more of people working in education are woefully underpaid. Coaching or not. But you are right, for the added responsibilities they take on, a few thousand extra a year doesn't cut it.

Rash being at Beechwood for 17 years is now the exception rather than the rule. For the most part, these days, a lot of schools will churning through coaches. They are younger and starting families. Time with their kids does, and should, take priority over time with other peoples kids.

Not with this ownership group.

I always here the old "There's penalties on every play" from everyone, including the Refs and the league. You know how you stop it, you call them on every play. Eventually either the players will stop or the league will change the rules. But you can't keep missing calls on key plays and expect no one to say anything. For the record, I did not watch a single down of the game.

Caught a show on the NFL network the other night about the "Door knock" when the players learn they have made the hall. They showed all this years inductees, except the 2 that had passed. Ken Riley and Don Coreyell. Why don't we get to see how it affected the families of those who didn't get to live to see their dream completed. Cincinnati, hosed by the HOF, again.

I saw the tail end of Curtis's career. He was still a good receiver but was beginning to be overtaken by the likes of Collinsworth. But he never had a tantrum about it. As you said, the man was pure class.

I'd be all for ditching "permanent" opponents just to add some variety. If you aren't in the same state, there is no reason to play every year. Look at UK vs Alabama. If the SEC hadn't have had the all conference schedule in 2020 (when Alabama UK was one of the added games), it would have been 7 years between meetings. Ditch playing the same teams every year and give the fan bases something new. And don't cry tradition. The NCAA sold it's tradition soul to the devil a while ago.

Didn't listen or watch and didn't catch any post game stuff, but isn't it about this time when Cal throws his team under the bus? Not his fault, they just don't listen.

Just saw highlights at halftime of UCONN/Creighton on FOX. The graphic showed Georgia's record as 14-111. They looked pretty good for a team that has to be tired after 125 games in 3 and a half months. LOL

If it was indeed a hazing incident or incidents, then they are just stupid. When will people learn that if you do stupid crap, people will find out.
