Christian County scored first to go up 8-0, and then Mayfield ran off 72 straight. That’s alot of points, but the Colonels never punted and many times gave the ball back to Mayfield deep in their own territory. Gordon Lyles is the QB for the Colonels and is a weapon that has to be accounted for. He took a beating tonite.

Yes, RHV will be at the game. So far, every school we have been to has been very accommodating. We are not doing this for profit, and the grandmother who lives in Brazil is thrilled to be able to see her grandson play each week. that's why we do it. ?

It is a stadium shared with Hopkinsville. Both schools, historically, have had strong football programs with Hoptown winning back to back state championships in the mid sixties.

Last game of regular season, and Mayfield will be making the trip to the Stadium of Champions to play Christian Co. The Colonels are down this year so it looks like a win for the Big Red. Tell us what you think.

Mayfield was much better than Murray in every phase of the game. Murray had -5 yards rushing at the half. We had at least 4 touchdowns called back by penalties. It was a strange game, but a big win nonetheless.

Really? He was not asking if it was possible that Mayfield could beat those teams. Snake knows full well that we have handled all of those teams in the past. He was pointing out the disparity between the ranking and the projection.

Long standing rivalry that has seen a lot of "bad blood" between the two teams renews itself at War Memorial as Murray comes to town to play the Cardinals. Many across the state are aware of the Mayfield-Paducah Tilghman rivalry, but it is Murray that is most disliked by many Mayfield fans, and for good reason, but I will not go into that. Murray comes in with a top ten RPI ranking in 2A. Will they ruin the night for Mayfield fans by pulling out a victory? Tell us what you think.

Lopsided victory for the Cardinals as the running clock began early in the 3rd quarter. Crittenden has some good athletes, but not enough to threaten any of the top 4 in 2A. Murray week starts now!
