Probably be favored in 9 games. 8-4 minimum if they can get average to above QB play. 9-3 maybe even 10-2 if the Football Gods forgive us for the whole Bear Bryant fiasco.

Jeff said years ago 2013 that when he played CAL was the enemy. He said stepping in Louisville basketball facility felt more comfortable then Kentucky’s. Pitino versus CAL thing. Reed Shepard won’t play for CAL. If KY gets away from CAL is the only chance that’s going to happen. If you search Sea of Blue they have the comments. Believe Shepard was on KSR too with some awkward moments.

Ashland I believe got 3 transfers. PG from Greenup County a freshman who played Varsity last season. Marcum brothers from Spring Valley WVA. One a senior 6’9, one a junior 6’7. Ashland last year had no size and played a lot of 5 guard lineups. This year they have size how those 2 mesh will be interesting to see.

Ashland is really really good and loaded with playmakers. How the new players mesh with the the returnees is yet to be seen. Villars and Porter make a very dangerous 1-2 punch. I’ll take Ashland in a close game.

Everyone have a very Merry Christmas. Snow is starting to fly in Ashland. Looks like a White Christmas for us.

Thomas didn’t start the season at RB. He was DE -TE. He was shifted to the RB spot for the Ironton game due to injury sickness. After the Game Legendary Coach Lutz told Vic Marsh, you keep him at RB you win the State Title. He did the rest is History.

Arliss Beach from Ashland. He was a human highlight reel went on to play at KY. Played 3 or 4 seasons in the NFL. Believe he was 04, 05 class. Was all state in Football and Basketball. Juan Thomas 1990 how he didn’t win it.

Had 9 starters back from last season. Top of my head they will lose 6 of those.

Don’t know guessing some good pieces. We are losing some great players as well. Heard from a friend we have some pretty good middle school classes coming including Pittman’s little brother.

2020 has been a year to forget for just about everyone. Obviously so glad they figured out a way to pull all of this off. Hats off to everyone involved in that process.

Pittman may be MVP and he was awesome but Gilliam and the D were co MVPs. 2020 CATS D needs a nickname. Maybe the VIRUS!! Who knows just so happy for the Players, the Coaches and the Tomcat faithful. Been way too long.
