Any updates?

Offensively we’re like mirror images of each other from I’ve seen. Our defense is pretty good as of late. But haven’t really been tested since wk 4.

I’ll give Wofo their respect, they earned that #1 spot. I didn’t really know much about them but I will definitely start my research before the playoffs. I hope the Devils will get to face off with Wofo at some point in the playoffs.

Idk about that I watched the Greenwood vs BG game. Their defense is pretty stout. GW is better than MNH imo. I wonder why they haven’t cracked the top 10.

I think Atherton is the sneaky team everyone should keep an eye on. They definitely have the athletes to get it done.

Crazy talk name a player on Woodfords offense better than Dillard or Hampton. Then name a better defensive player than Ty Ashley. If Woodford has anything better it would be the Oline but to say O doesn’t have to horses to run with Wofo is blasphemy.lol SC almost beat them.

Pretty bad outside of Graves, OC, and Madisonville.

Had no idea he was from that area. Has been playing for O since 8th grade from my memory. SC definitely missed out on a great 1. Hampton & Emongo in the backfield would be scary to see.. I think Scott County would be a big test for the Devils simply because O isn’t used to seeing that style of play. Which could possibly lead to a shoot out. But the Devils run defense in general is pretty stout. Ask Edge from OC and Mr. Football hopeful Hightower from North.. Atp I’m not sure any defense in 5A can stop this quick hitting offense the devils have right now. They aren’t nearly as predictable as they were under Prince and Fallin. For example this past wk on 4th and 3 O decides to go for it on their own 35 yard line. Under Prince and Fallin you just knew Hampton would get it, so defenses would bring the house. What does Ganaway do, deep ball to Dillard which resulted in a 60 yard TD.

That same nobody knocked off the reigning 4A champs. And was ranked top 5 2wks prior to playing O.

I was just sure O would surpass Woodford after their performance on friday. I guess not…

Colonels had a 4game win streak against the Devils from 11’-14’. Devils have been on a 9 game win streak against them since

I know it’s a Rivalry game but Apollo is too much for a rebuilding DC. Apollo by 21 or more.

This will be the game to that tells us the type of run the purples will make in the playoffs. If they win watch out. If they lose by a couple of scores, then we’re probably going to see an early exit for the Purples. Franklin County’s record is a little deceptive they’ve only played 2 teams worth mentioning in Bullit East and LCA both games finished within 1 score…. BG on the other hand has been more than battle tested with the gauntlet schedule they’ve had all while facing issues with injuries. BG is healthy now and gaining confidence. IMO they get their best win of the season against an undefeated FC team gaining momentum into the post season. Purples 21 Flyers 14

Let’s go Devils 6A win next week against the colonels should solidify home games until state for the Devils if they make it.

All 5 district games were running clocks. I expect that trend to continue until regionals. Shout out to Kingston Dillard. He’s the best receiver I’ve ever seen in a Red Devils jersey. I expect him to break every WR record at Owensboro as he’s just a sophomore. Kid is crazy good.

I figured this during the Graves game. Also think PT hype carried over from last year. Not sure if they’re really that good this yr.
