Mud Bowl was pretty balanced teams. Legendary game but not much of an upset. Doolin played for UC off the top of my head. Woolf, Madden, Fowee, Pfeiffer were all very good players.

I am sure Cooper has improved as well. But I can tell you this, Rio and Lorenzen have developed their relationship and if it is hitting on Friday it will be a difference in the game. Also as a one time Highlands player and a long time Highlands fan, rain has NEVER helped Highlands. Rain only helps 1994 Boone Co.

I believe the factors that might give Highlands a bump in this one is the evolution of Highlands offense over the course of the season. 1 - TE Lorenzen has emerged and developed as a first down machine running and receiving. 2 - QB Rio Litmer has improved a ton and is playing with confidence. Looking forward to see how it unfolds.

If a freshman QB is starting for Franklin Co. I would be really surprised if they beat this Cov Cath team. Unless it’s Tim Couch Jr or something.

Cov Cath 30 Franklin Co 20 Colonels can be two completely different offenses that Franklin Co can’t simulate in practice. They just beat the biggest baddest bully on the block. Gimme Colonels all day.

It was a big win, why not celebrate? When I was senior in the 90s we celebrated when we won in the third round. Not sure what era of birds history you are talking? What made it “like a state championship”? Was there a confetti drop?

Legitimate reason. I am Clemson ('03) fan and FSU is one our biggest rivals obviously. I get it from an FSU fan, I really don't understand why everyone hates Dabo so much though haha. I guess its the "aw shucks" type of stuff? I hope FSU gets back to their usual form sometime soon. I believe a strong FSU helps make a strong Clemson.
