With the luxury of two QBs who can effectively run a HS offense, I’d go New Orleans style and run him in as a Taysum Hill option. Throw everyone off. “They running? Passing? Is he running?” And before anyone says he doesn’t have an arm, bologna. Kid can throw it just fine if given the opportunity. Fantasy football approach I know from a guy behind a computer instead of on the sidelines, but I’m just of the opinion playmakers need to be on the field. If you’ve witnessed his court awareness in Basketball, you know with reps he will explode on the gridiron……

Completely Agree. Harney was a leader against the higher classes and never cut loose what I saw. Would love to have seen what he could have done against this 2A schedule. Unfortunately minds we’re obviously already made up post Hergott graduation, and heir apparent is now in seat. Is what it is As long as the Beechies get the W. BW shouldn’t get fancy IMO. Still plenty of horses in the stable. Aylor, Courtney, Riegler, and on and on. You cannot replace a Mitch Berger, but, you can still run the ball with these fellas. Involve Robinson and McCormick as much as possible, always, but don’t reinvent the team this late. Just my thoughts. #GoTigers

Multiple injuries for the Tigers tonight. Prayers to all the kids for good news when the dust settles. Shocked week over week why so many feel another new QB replacing Hergott will put this team over the top. They are over the top already. Cash lead this team wonderfully on a whim. Totally skipped over Sowder who lit up JV and never got a look. Does it matter? No. No disrespect, but doesn’t matter. Ever see Berger run? Mr Football. Protect the ball, don’t turn it over, and give it to Berger, Aylor, O’Shea, McCormick, etc. Run behind Waddell. Don’t get fancy Beechwood. Stick to what got ya here. That is all. ?

Don’t quote me, but believe the rule is you can only play so many quarters in a 24 hr period. Smaller schools, like HC, who rely on younger kids to play on Friday nights can’t have them play 4 more quarters the next morning. Recall it was 6? Anyways, shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone, it’s happened for year in this matchup.

Is LCA still on track to be healthy at some point this season? Specifically at QB?

Conversely, this fan would love to see what Ca$h could do against this stretch. The kid already proved he can do more than just maintain and led them to victories every week but against CCH. And let’s not also forget that Sowder has been lighting JV up since being turned back to due to the Hayden injury. Many options at WB in titletown, with experience. Hope this QB switch mid season pans out, I mean let’s call it what it is. Ya really just need someone to take care of the ball, hand off to Berger, and hit McCormick every so often. Many others are key, I know, but Cash ran that offense very well stepping in for a legend…….

It’s a dig on the QB when you question when someone comes back, that has never started a game. Not directed at you bud, but I’m So tired of the QB talk week after week when Cash has stepped in and done his job as a 14 yr old. #gotigers

Cannot take away a player like Austin Waddell and expect to throw the ball. Huge, huge loss last week for BW. Barely a mention in this thread of the biggest factor IMO.
