Congrats to Rebels on a great win, I always like the KY teams to beat the great Ohio teams. You might want to pump the brakes.Three games in and your talking national championship? Just as a reference, check the Highlands schedule from 2009. They beat several Ohio teams including St. X (0H) who was ranked in the top five in the nation along with Highlands. Again congrats on your great win.

He wanted to play a few more years but his wife gave him a HELL NO TO THAT!!!! He's 70 years old and mean and lean. He couldn't stand not being on the playing field, so now he's on the chain gang. Yes, he loves football.!!

My immediate family has 5 state title rings, and 3 all state line backer and a MVP award from the title game. Arguably, one of them was voted by the fans and coaches to be one of the best linebackers to ever come out of Highlands, Fort Thomas Living magazine. One got a D1 OFFER from Army. The same one was a starter as a Soph at LB on the 2009 team that was ranked number 3 in the nation. that's the same team that beat top 10 ranked Cincy X. One of them went on to play 17 years semi pro at LB. I got 4 guys I can ask and they are next to me, and growing up they explained it very well. These are my brothers. If you were trying to be cute it back fired.

You didn't mention the dropped pass in the end zone. You didn't mention the interception by the Birds either. I guess you don't remember them. ? Now don't get all bent out of shape, I'm just messing with you. I'll just end it by saying it was one of the best games I've seen and the Birds will see you next year. No hard feelings on this end.

I watched the game and didn't see anyone on the field look that much better than anyone else on the field. Congrats to Cooper! The smallest guy on the field made some of biggest plays . That would be number 3 for Highlands, probably ran over some of D1's you are talking about on the way to the end zone.

Congratulation to all these players, coaches and every one involved. Well done.

D1? How many offers do they have and who from. Are YOU qualified to determine who is and isn't. Has any college coaches visited these players? From over the years I heard that it's not a D1 offer unless you you sign on the dotted line. I think they don't signing the line until Feb.. Hope all these players get what they are hoping for, and finish the season injury free. t't

For over 100 years Highlands didn't keep defensive stats. They didn't time players on the 40 yard dash either. Any truth to these changes?.

Coach Knight had three national titles. His famous quote " when I die they can bury me face down, so all my critics can kiss my behind." Prayers for family and friends.

Thanks for posting the RPI. It's like every thing else in my life. I don't know anything about it, but it can't be too bad with Highlands number one. ☺️ Go Birds!!! I see some familiar faces on the chain gang at HHS home games. Some are believed to be former Highlands football players. If I'm right they all played the same position. Glad to see immediate family members still supporting the program. If I'm not mistaken they have more more rings than most jewelry stores. (JK).

I hope the coaches at Highlands realize that number 3 and 8 are not secret weapons for the Birds any longer. Work hard Birds, it's not over until it's over.

I was going to mention that, but last year I got shot out of my tree for saying that. Don't forget to keep your head down.

Guys played their hearts out. Just wasn't their night. I'm still proud of them. Seriously, Highlands has two plays in their play book. Screen pass and QB draw. They did not attempt a pass over 10 yards that I can remember.

How come your the only one that saw that obvious block in the back? ? No harm meant. Just stating the runner was a burner.

Last week the player for LC had a 65 yard TD run right up the gut. Three Birds were chasing him but not gaining on him. Reminded me of Secretariat at the Belmont.

HHS special teams need to do more than show up.
