Outside of the Cov Cath at Highlands game, this could be one of the best in NKY to attend. Ryle has a historical edge for sure over the past 5 years, but whoever wins this game has always won it big. Looking forward to seeing it. I believe it is at Dixie if I am correct.

Ryle defeats St. Henry 2-1 Hearing Highlands is beating Beechwood at present 5-0. Dixie and Conner after two OT’s are going to PK’s.

Pretty much have to go with ND at this point. As for a dark horse, Conner had a really good District tourney run. They should be proud of that but can they keep momentum? Ryle has played all the leading teams close. Ryle hasn't lost but two games since September 2nd. This tourney is going to be a crazy fun one to watch.

Good physical game. Sad the Colonels lost. I'm on the fence here with this head coach. The record (Dixie's) speaks for itself, but I don't see players or coaches that are quitting. Going down the scheduled losses. At Cooper, Dixie lost that game more than Cooper won it. Nobody saw Conner having the amazing season they are having. Cov Cath was going to win regardless but thats probably a closer first half if Dixie doesn't commit unforced errors. Beechwood doesn't win last week if Dixie is healthy. Simon Kenton will tell you they weren't comfortable in that second half until that interception. I guess my point is that everyone here knows what a team looks like when the message is no longer resonating. For everyone who wants a change, what changes would you make? What names would you like to see as the head coach?

How would those kids be spread out? And to which school? For instance schools like Newport or Holmes. Where would Newport kids go? Highlands is stacked enough already, Bellevue? Dayton? Holmes kids could go to Scott, Dixie, Simon Kenton? I’d propose that any school that receives kids from another school has to play a level up.

Both are used to playing on grass, and Cooper has the defense to keep it close. However, that will only last for so long. Game is at Conner. I think it's Conner by two scores.

Same game (Beechwood/Dixie) 4th quarter. Dixie ran a QB keep up the middle. #26 from Beechwood put a really good hit on the QB after about a 7 yard gain. He then proceeds to stand over the QB for 3-4 seconds staring down at him. No flag thrown. Is it against the rules to do that? I was under the impression it was a personal foul. happened on a key drive in the game.

I'll take Ryle coming out of this district. They seem to be getting hot at the right time.

Is this RPI considering the out of state schedule? For instance, I notice Simon Kenton isn't on here and they haven't played the easiest schedule. Interesting.

If Dixie can put some drives together that take time off the clock, and keeps their defense fresh, they have a shot at home. If Beechwood can spread the field and keep Dixie's defense on, then Beechwood wins in a close one. This game will say more about where Beechwood is than Dixie.

Turkeyfoot won the "large school division" championship in middle school last season. I don't know but that could be why their froshmores are doing so well (3-1). Hearing a few of those Turkeyfoot kids are now with Cov Cath. With the Dixie youth back, they may get back the numbers.

Prayers for the QB. Hate to hear that.

Cov Cath was able to get pressure third quarter with a really good defensive line but like previously stated by someone on another post, Cov Cath’s secondary is suspect and is helped out tremendously by their D-line play. Should have been a 21-7 maybe 21-14 score going into halftime. Dixie was driving and taking time off the clock then had two unforced errors (ball bounced off shoulder pads for a pick, and QB fumbles on 4th and 1) which gave Cov Cath a short field twice. Can’t do that with a good team. Right before the half ref doesn’t get the ball set when Dixie is on the 8yd line to go for the spike, time expired. Didn’t see this but heard an official took a helmet to the face, hope he is ok.

I say take Boone out and it's Conner and Dixie, that's your 9 and 10 spots take your pick. Cooper may be a bit high in my opinion. Love seeing Holmes in the conversation again.

You got me in a box there, can’t argue those stats. I should have clarified by saying *rushing QB’s. Before you rake me over the coals with more stats it’s those hidden tough yards that young man gets that make him a good QB. “One of the best” was fluff for the post my good man. Who you taking in this one?
